Technological advances have provided new ways to reduce costs and time in process flows within or... more Technological advances have provided new ways to reduce costs and time in process flows within organizations. However, in the education sector, most of them still have monotonous processes that need control and supervision manually, in addition, they do not make proper use of these technologies, which does not allow them to improve their workflow. Within these technologies appears the automation of processes that seeks mainly to perform multiple tasks automatically supported by a system or software. Through the use of a web system that allows the automation of certain processes, it will be possible to align the objectives of the institution with the current social situation. The objective of this article is to show the main studies that implement web architectures integrating machine learning technologies, to have a comprehensive approach to the current web standard and its integration into new technologies. The methodology used was the search and review of articles that implement web architectures together with machine learning technologies, published in recent years. In the review of articles, a total of 56 articles were obtained, of which 20 were selected and used for the writing of this article. The result of this research is the proposal of a web architecture model that allows the automation of processes and the integration of machine learning based on the main architectures found in the literature review.

The purpose of the Project Portfolio Management is to manage all resources in order to plan and execute successful projects and achieve the strategic objectives of the organizations. In the Project Portfolio Management, a lot of data is generated daily, which is important for the planning of new projects in companies; consequently, this need arises to create models that help to process and interpret this data. In this context, Machine Learning as an expression of Artificial Intelligence, is presented as an alternative and technological enabler that allows a system, by itself and in an automated way, to learn to discover patterns, trends and relationships in data, it is presented as an engine of digital transformation of business, which is being adopted by many organizations and its demand is growing. Therefore, this paper aims to compile and review the proposals made for the implementation of Machine Learning and critical success factors to improve Project Management, based on a literature review and an analysis of the current state of the art of Machine Learning. 122 articles were found and 21 articles were selected that are related to the research questions. As a final result, 7 ML methods and 18 critical success factors for PPM have been identified.

The constant advance of technology in recent years has generated that several educational institu... more The constant advance of technology in recent years has generated that several educational institutions are in the need to implement various technological tools to improve educational services; however, several of these programs have not been able to meet the needs they required. For this reason, the use of a chatbot emerges as a solution, which represents an interactive communication, allowing to perform a series of tasks in a novel, attractive way and finding information efficiently. Therefore, this article aims to provide a chatbot that serves as a support system in educational centers, giving answers in a short time and that are accessible at any time. The methodology used was based on the review of published articles no older than 5 years on the identification of technologies in the architecture of a chatbot that serves as a support system in educational centers. Of the 70 articles collected, after being analyzed, 22 articles were selected that provided the necessary information for the research topic. The results obtained coincide in using a web platform in the user interface component, the Dialogflow platform in the dialog management component and Firebase in the database component as technologies when developing the architecture of a chatbot.

Service Oriented Architecture is a style of Information Technology Architecture that is based on service orientation. The objective of the work is to show the results obtained from models related to software developments based on the Service Oriented Architecture for Organizations. A review is made to analyze articles published in prestigious journals during the last five years. 866 potential articles were extracted, from which 15 were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. It is concluded that there are several software development models based on the Service Oriented Architecture for Organizations with positive results.

Data processing with sentiment analysis is significantly improving the analysis of various sector... more Data processing with sentiment analysis is significantly improving the analysis of various sectors. However, there are currently several sectors where the potential use of sentiment analysis is not being exploited, either because of a lack of knowledge of techniques to use in a sector or because there is not much information to collect. The correct use of sentiment analysis in new sectors can increase the data analysis of that sector. The objective of this paper is to report on the extent to which sentiment analysis is being used in various sectors and to propose an architectural model for the education sector, a sector that is little frequented. The methodology used was a literature review of sentiment analysis implementations in different sectors. As a result, 145 potential articles were found where 21 were selected. From the results, we see that there is a tendency to use sentiment analysis in some sectors but at the same time an almost null use in some sectors, which is a call for further research in them.

Due to the problems presented by university higher education programs in Peru, the senior executi... more Due to the problems presented by university higher education programs in Peru, the senior executives of the universities must take the necessary measures that allow them to identify institutional procedures to subsequently implement correct activities that contribute to growth in university education service quality and thus meet the standards necessary to achieve the accreditation of university programs. The main objective is to identify and offer a relevant description of some accreditation models, which allow the development of an institutional culture based on quality management to obtain accreditation in university higher education in Peru, as well as digital platforms used for education. The methodology used was the literature review. As a main conclusion is the identification of 15 publications selected, during the full review of each of the papers, we found 5 accreditation models and 7 digital platforms that support university quality management systems.

Information Technologies are the key assets within any public or private organization, these asse... more Information Technologies are the key assets within any public or private organization, these assets should be governed by a senior executive or a special body in the higher hierarchical level of the organization. Public universities need to create an IT governance body that allows direct, evaluate, monitor all the management process of the projects and services operations with TI dependence to improve the performance, generate the adequate information for the decision-making of the senior executives, and achieve the desired objectives within of the university. In reality, this does not happen on a day-to-day basis in many universities, because the decisions made by senior executives are empirical, without taking into account the appropriate information. The objective of the article is to collect and show the different factors that influence the correct implementation of an IT Governance model in universities. For the elaboration of the article, a literature review methodology was used, where different scientific articles from the last years were reviewed. As a result, 20 factors were found that influence the implementation of IT governance in public universities, which must be taken into account and receive special attention for the implementation of an IT governance framework.

Blockchain is a disruptive technology that provides security and integrity to information systems. The objective of the article is to show the results found in models of administrative systems in public institutions that use architectures based on blockchain technology. A brief bibliographic review was carried out to analyze the articles published in prestigious journals during the last three years. As a result, 102 potential articles were found and 15 articles were selected. From the results, it is concluded that the use of blockchain through the use of smart contracts offers security, privacy, transparency and data integrity in the public organization.

However, there are many organizations that do not have adequate control of these technologies and do not allow them to achieve their desired objectives, for this reason it is important to properly manage and control IT through an IT governance framework. Through a framework, it will allow to achieve the alignment of IT with the Corporate Governance of the company, companies need a guide on how to adapt the strategic objectives stipulated by the Senior Management. The objective of this article is to show the most important studies that use the standards or framework related to IT Governance, in order to have a comprehensive approach to how the IT area is aligned with Corporate Governance. The methodology used was the search and review of the different IT governance studies implemented in the organizations, for which the literature review guide was used. In the collection of articles, a total of 383 articles were obtained, of which 18 were selected and used for the mapping study. The result of this research is the identification of two frameworks/standards. COBIT 5 and ISO 38500 that are most used in the implementation of ITG in organizations.

The catalogue of Information Technology (IT) services is a structure where the identified IT serv... more The catalogue of Information Technology (IT) services is a structure where the identified IT services are classified in a specific organization. There are several problems that arise when constructing and managing this catalogue in public organizations, for this reazons, the objective of this study is to determine the status on the management of the catalogue within the IT services in the public sector, analysed from the perspective of the personnel working in the various departments or IT areas of the organizations. As a research methodology there is a field study based on a survey applied to 45 employees (bosses and IT workers) who work in 22 public institutions located in the province of Manabí, Republic of Ecuador, in this study they identify aspects such as: a) the professional profile of the personnel that works in this areas, b) the standards that apply to government, demand management and IT service management, c) levels of implementation of the IT services catalogue. The conclusion that stands out most is, that most institutions do not have their IT services catalog implemented: for the limited application of regulations and/or appropriate standards for the government, the management of services and the management of IT demand, among other important aspects.

Architectures are typically used in the information technology domain to build plans for a company, organize and optimize system components, interfaces, processes and business capabilities, among others. An enterprise architecture framework establishes a practical guide for analyzing, understanding, and applying technical descriptions of an architecture in a particular business area. Designing and / or adapting an appropriate enterprise architecture framework has been one of the challenges in recent years for many companies, especially for SMEs. This article has the objective of compiling and investigating which are the main Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and which are the factors that influence SMEs when adopting an enterprise architecture framework. After reviewing the literature, we have found one hundred thirteen articles and selected twenty-five of them according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria defined in this research. As a result of this article, we have identified twenty enterprise architecture models based on three enterprise architecture frameworks and seven factors that influence SMEs when adopting an enterprise architecture.

Business models used to improve current operations and tasks within private and public organizati... more Business models used to improve current operations and tasks within private and public organizations, this technique is known as business process improvement, allowing organizations to be more efficient. Business processes are supported by the standard of the Business Process Modeling Notation, provided to organizations, to understand their internal business processes in a graphical notation and communicate its procedures in a standard way. IT departments manage IT services daily through IT incident management to restore normal operation of the service after an interruption. In the SUNARP; a public entity of Peru, there are several problems such as: long waiting time to attend to users, noncompliance in the operative part of the management of Incidents and inadequate monitoring of the attention given to users. The objective of this research is to design a model to improve the IT incident management process at SUNARP. The methodology used to design the new model has taken into account the best practices of ITIL V3 and the BPMN for the graphic notation of processes. As a result, ten differences stand out in the proposed model. It is concluded that IT incident management process was modeled with the sub processes of the escalation and change management, which has allowed business process improvement in the SUNARP.

IT projects must be aligned with the objectives, goals and strategies, which is achieved through the appropriate application of a methodology for ITPPM. The experienced application of a methodology depends on the experience of the managers of ITPPM, considering that the application of methodologies generates best practices, it becomes necessary to study some of the more representative methodologies and obtain the best practices that allow novice administrators to initiate their portfolio management activities in information technology projects. In this article, three methodologies are studied, from which best practices are obtained, as results; a hierarchy of best practices is obtained so that project managers can be guided or introduced in their field.
