Aim of this study is to report a case of cervical sarcoma botryoides. Method used is a Case report. A 16-year-old girl, nulliparous, complained abnormal vaginal bleeding and a protruding vaginal mass. Patient underwent first surgery, mass recurrent five months later. The second surgery was performed by cervical amputation and neocervix creation using Sturmdorf sutures technique. Postoperative week 12 demonstrated a healthy neocervix in appearance, her menses have resumed, indicated patency. She has no evidence of disease 3 months after diagnosis. Cervical sarcoma botryoides is a rare malignancy. Clinicians must thoroughly examine any polyp or mass protrudes from vagina. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential for better prognosis. Sarcoma botryoides has a much improved prognosis with multimodality treatment. To determine the long-term survival and future potential fertility outcome, larger study and longer follow-up are needed.

We aimed to investigate the incidence and characteristics of de novo SUI in patients who underwent pelvic floor reconstruction at the national referral hospital in Indonesia. METHODS This cross-sectional study evaluated 108 patients who underwent pelvic floor reconstruction due to POP between January 2016 and December 2017. Per the inclusion criteria, 75 women were enrolled using a consecutive sampling. The incidence of de novo SUI was determined 6–12 months postoperatively using the Indonesian version of the questionnaire for urinary incontinence diagnosis and objectively using the cough stress test during gynecologic examination after a negative preoperative prolapse reduction stress test. RESULTS The average age, parity, body mass index, and years since menopause onset were 56.17 (4.67) years, 3.17 (1.07), 28....

The membrane canalization process end to various hymenal forms. Microperforate hymen appears as a partial obstruction depending on its size. Most often, patient will present with menstrual disorders, dyspareunia, and infertility. The aim of this research was to report a case of spontaneous pregnancy in postoperative microperforated hymen in form of case report. A 27year-old woman, P0A0, complained of pain during intercouse. Patient had been married for 1,5 years, had reguler menstrual cycles without any contraceptive method, but not conceived yet. Inspection showed an obstructed vaginal introitus with a small opening laterally at 3 o'clock, consistent witn microperforate hymen. During surgery, short vaginal introitus was observed and no vaginal canal was seen. A sound was inserted through a small opening of 1 mm in diameter laterally at 3 o'clock, followed by sufficient incision and excision of the distal vaginal tissue. Interrupted suture of the proximal and distal mucosa was performed. The vaginal portion as well as uterus appeared normal. Postoperative tissue healing was good. A spontaneous pregnancy occurred 56 days after the surgery and a healthy term baby was born by caesarean section. In the case of microperforated hymen, menstrual flow can be normal. The patient complained of dyspareunia or impaired sexual penetration leading to infertility, although the presence of a small opening may allow passage of sperm and spontaneous pregnancy may occur before the surgery. Surgery can reduce psychological stress and improve reproductive function, allowing pregnancy to occur.

Mother’s age is a cause of recurrent miscarriage. The aim of this study is to determine the relation between mother’s age and the incidence of recurrent miscarriage on outpatient clinic and delivery room patients at Obstetric and Gynecologic Department of Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin from 2010 to 2013. This study used analytic observational method with retrospective approach, the mother’s age was divided into 35 years age group, with Chi-square test at 95% confidence level used to analyze the data. The results showed that from 1.266 patients diagnosed with abortion at Ulin General Hospital Banjarmasin, a total of 37 patients were diagnosed with recurrent miscarriage. We found that the number of women who suffered recurrent miscarriage at 35 years of age were 15 (40.54%) patients. Overall, a total of 16 (43,24%) patients were within the recurrent miscarriage risk factor age ...

The incidence markedly increases with advancing age. One strategy to prevent POP is to predict its probabilities fromthe risk factors. This study was to explore correlation betweens risk factors and POP presence in gynecology outpatient clinic, Dr.Soetomo Hospital Surabaya 2007 – 2011. This was a 5-year retrospective observational study. Data were collected from medicalrecords in gynecology outpatients clinic Dr Soetomo Hospital. We used consecutively sampling technique and regression logistic testto analyze the strength between risk factors and POP presence and development. Regression equation model was used to predictprobability of developing POP. There were 371 women with POP, but only 92 become samples of this study based on 4 risk factors(parity, age, menopausal condition, and Body Mass Index or BMI). The major types of POP were uterine prolapse (66...

This research aims to determine the relationship of reference diagnosis and frequency of antenatal care with postpartum hemorrhage in RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin period January 2018 – June 2019 This research uses a case control analytical observational research method. The samples in this study were divided into samples of cases and control samples. Sample cases used total sampling and sampel control used simple random sampling. The statistical test used was the Chi-Square test and Fisher's alternative test with a confidence level of 95% or α = 0.05. Analysis results of post-saline bleeding relationship to the diagnosis of reference (p= 0.000) and antenatal frequency (p= 0.424). The conclusion of this research is that there is a diagnosis relationship with the postpartum hemorrhage incident in RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin period...

The population of this study was patients with a diagnosis of postpartum urinary retention in spontaneous labour in the delivery ward and postpartum ward of Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital between January 2018-January 2020. The sample for this study was a part of the target population selected by purposive sampling, which fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analyzed using the Chi square test and multivariate analysis using binary logistics. Results: The results showed 35 samples of patients diagnosed with postpartum urinary retention in spontaneous labour and had met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Characteristic data of the study samples found that most of the study subjects were more than 35 ye...

Several provinces in Indonesia in 2017-2018 reports that 1 in 5 cases of perineal rupture is shown to be fatal, one of many contributing factors in perineal rupture is age and parity. This study aims to find the relationship between age, parity, with perineal rupture on per vaginam (spontaneous) deliveries in RSIA Borneo Citra Medika, Pelaihari. This search use cross-sectional, analytic observational study that was conducted at RSIA Borneo Citra Medika from January to December 2017 with simple random sampling utilizing secondary data from medical record, total 208 samples. The result is perineal rupture was found on 16 (11.51%) samples with age <20 years old and >35 years old and on 123 (95.69%) samples with age 20-35 years old. Chi-square analysis showed no association between age and perineal rupture (p>0.05). Perineal rupture was found on 70 (50.35%...
