Method: This study uses a case study design with an evidence-based practice approach that focuses on nursing interventions. This research was conducted at the BLUD RSU Banjar City on 27-31 May 2022. Participants in this study were Ny patients. C, 35 years old, female, complains of right lower quadrant abdominal pain. The process of assessing and establishing a diagnosis is focused on the main problem. Objective and subjective data becomes a reference for periodic evaluation of nursing implementation. Results: Patients gave recognition of decreased pain after being given a progressive muscle relaxation intervention with a pain scale of 4 out of 5 (0-10) and a scale of 3 out of 4 (0-10). Scabies is a skin disease caused by investment and sensitivity by Sarcoptes scabei mites, often f... more Scabies is a skin disease caused by investment and sensitivity by Sarcoptes scabei mites, often found in Islamic boarding schools, because of the place was humid and the students' knowledge about life style was lack. Health Education was intended to increase the knowledge of the students at Al-Arifin Islamic boarding school about scabies and how to prevent it. The method of implementation in this community service activities was started from planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation. Health education was carried out through lectures and discussion by leaflets and PowerPoint presentations. The results showed 70.00% of participants gave an excellent rating of health education. Scabies health education activities provide benefits to improve health degree of public health specifically in the boarding school environment. Health education about scabies in the boarding school environment was very useful for increasing the knowledge of the students.

Fruits and vegetables are the best sources of vitamins and minerals. The content of vitamins and minerals can act as antioxidant compounds. The method used in this service activity consists of the planning stage, the implementation of the activity, and ends with an evaluation as a measure of the level of success. Health education is carried out by means of lectures and question and answer sessions, educational media using leaflets and PowerPoint Presentations. Results: the evaluation shows that the activities have been carried out well in accordance with the results indicators and criteria on the Evaluation Sheet instrument. The sheet is based on five dimensions, namely Punctuality and Duration, Participation, Knowledge, Job Description and Problem Solving. The content of the evaluation is carried out by two independent observers.

Salah satu upaya promotif untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan di pondok pesantren adalah dengan melaksanakan pendidikan kesehatan. Metode pelaksaan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dimulai dari tahapan survey, assessment, persiapan, kegiatan inti dan terakhir adalah evaluasi kegiatan sebagai tolok ukur tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Kegiatan pendidikan Kesehatan dilakukan dengan cara ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Peserta kegiatan mendapat mendemontrasikan praktik cuci tangan 6 langkah dengan baik dan benar. Virtual Reality (VR) Distraction is one of the methods of Researcher to relieve anxiety level of the children during circumcision processes. Virtual Reality (VR) distraction is a type of audiovisual distraction with Google VR tool which helps children divert unpleasant stimuli and make feel relaxed in a familiar environment. The objective of this research is to measure effectiveness of VR distraction in to anxiety level of the children during circumcision. This research is quantitative research that used quasi experimental with control group design. Number of samples are 60 children which divided into 2 groups (treatment group [n=30 respondents] and control group [n=30 respondents]). Anxiety and Fear level was measured by Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) and Face Fear Scale also Pulse Oximetry (Objective fear Symptoms). The result of this research indicated that VR Distraction was effective to relieve Anxiety Level during circumcision (p value= 0.000). This research was concluded that VR Distraction is useful to relieve anxiety level of children during circumcision with guide imagery mechanism.

The effect of genetic counseling on depression, anxiety, and knowledge level among diabetes mellitus patients

Aim: The aim of the research was to demonstrate the effect of genetic counseling on depression, a... more Aim: The aim of the research was to demonstrate the effect of genetic counseling on depression, anxiety and knowledge level among diabetes mellitus patients. Design: Quasi-experimental study. Methods: A quantitative study that used a questionnaire instrument to assess participants' levels of depression, anxiety, and knowledge. A total of 38 diabetes mellitus patients who met the inclusion criteria were studied for two months at the Lakbok Public Health Center with genetic counseling. Outcomes were measured before and after the counseling intervention provided. The statistical analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS version 25.0 software. Results: The results showed that the majority of participants (76.3%) had moderate depression prior to the genetic counseling intervention. However, after the intervention, most of the participants (73.7%) experienced mild depression, with a change in mean + standard deviation (SD) pre-post 26.3 + 3.1 to 17.6 + 2.6. The anxiety level of most participants was moderate (73.7%). After the intervention, most participants experienced mild anxiety (86.8%) with a change in mean + SD 16.7 + 3.3 to 11.3 + 2.3. In addition, before the intervention the knowledge level of the majority of the participants was satisfactory (86.8%). After the intervention, the knowledge level of the majority of the participants became good (52.6%) with a change in the mean + SD of 12.8 + 1.4 to 16.1 + 2.3. Conclusions: Changes in the level of depression, anxiety and knowledge in different categories are real evidence of the consistency of the intervention's effect on these very significant factors that have implications for health services in various health facilities such as hospitals and public health centers. Therefore, serious efforts are needed so that health policies encourage the presence of genetic counseling services for DM patients and patients of other genetic diseases.

Uncontrolled hypertension can cause a variety of diseases to the point of death. However, prevention of hypertension can be done early. Health Promotions aim to increase the knowledge of students in Ciamis District about prevention of hypertension. Health Promotion were carried out by explanation and discussion of 130 students in Ciamis District who were collected at WISMA GURU Ciamis on March 6, 2018. Before and after Health Promotion, participants were given a knowledge questionnaire and the results were processed using SPSS Version 16. Health Promotion instruments used flyers and power point presentation. Health Promotion of prevention of hypertension early has done successful and has a positive impact on increasing the knowledge of students and society.

Fruits and vegetables are the best sources of vitamins and minerals. The content of vitamins and minerals can act as antioxidant compounds. The method used in this service activity consists of the planning stage, the implementation of the activity, and ends with an evaluation as a measure of the level of success. Health education is carried out by means of lectures and question and answer sessions, educational media using leaflets and PowerPoint Presentations. Results: the evaluation shows that the activities have been carried out well in accordance with the results indicators and criteria on the Evaluation Sheet instrument. The sheet is based on five dimensions, namely Punctuality and Duration, Participation, Knowledge, Job Description and Problem Solving. The content of the evaluation is carried out by two independent observers.

Salah satu Lembaga yang dapat menjadi mitra penting dalam menanamkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada setiap individu adalah pondok pesantren. Salah satu upaya promotif untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan di pondok pesantren adalah dengan melaksanakan pendidikan kesehatan. Metode pelaksaan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dimulai dari tahapan survey, assessment, persiapan, kegiatan inti dan terakhir adalah evaluasi kegiatan sebagai tolok ukur tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Kegiatan pendidikan Kesehatan dilakukan dengan cara ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Peserta kegiatan mendapat mendemontrasikan praktik cuci tangan 6 langkah dengan baik dan benar. Virtual Reality (VR) Distraction is one of the methods of Researcher to relieve anxiety level of the children during circumcision processes. Virtual Reality (VR) distraction is a type of audiovisual distraction with Google VR tool which helps children divert unpleasant stimuli and make feel relaxed in a familiar environment. The objective of this research is to measure effectiveness of VR distraction in to anxiety level of the children during circumcision. This research is quantitative research that used quasi experimental with control group design. Number of samples are 60 children which divided into 2 groups (treatment group [n=30 respondents] and control group [n=30 respondents]). Anxiety and Fear level was measured by Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) and Face Fear Scale also Pulse Oximetry (Objective fear Symptoms). The result of this research indicated that VR Distraction was effective to relieve Anxiety Level during circumcision (p value= 0.000). This research was concluded that VR Distraction is useful to relieve anxiety level of children during circumcision with guide imagery mechanism.

Aim: The aim of the research was to demonstrate the effect of genetic counseling on depression, a... more Aim: The aim of the research was to demonstrate the effect of genetic counseling on depression, anxiety and knowledge level among diabetes mellitus patients. Design: Quasi-experimental study. Methods: A quantitative study that used a questionnaire instrument to assess participants' levels of depression, anxiety, and knowledge. A total of 38 diabetes mellitus patients who met the inclusion criteria were studied for two months at the Lakbok Public Health Center with genetic counseling. Outcomes were measured before and after the counseling intervention provided. The statistical analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS version 25.0 software. Results: The results showed that the majority of participants (76.3%) had moderate depression prior to the genetic counseling intervention. However, after the intervention, most of the participants (73.7%) experienced mild depression, with a change in mean + standard deviation (SD) pre-post 26.3 + 3.1 to 17.6 + 2.6. The anxiety level of most participants was moderate (73.7%). After the intervention, most participants experienced mild anxiety (86.8%) with a change in mean + SD 16.7 + 3.3 to 11.3 + 2.3. In addition, before the intervention the knowledge level of the majority of the participants was satisfactory (86.8%). After the intervention, the knowledge level of the majority of the participants became good (52.6%) with a change in the mean + SD of 12.8 + 1.4 to 16.1 + 2.3. Conclusions: Changes in the level of depression, anxiety and knowledge in different categories are real evidence of the consistency of the intervention's effect on these very significant factors that have implications for health services in various health facilities such as hospitals and public health centers. Therefore, serious efforts are needed so that health policies encourage the presence of genetic counseling services for DM patients and patients of other genetic diseases.

Uncontrolled hypertension can cause a variety of diseases to the point of death. However, prevention of hypertension can be done early. Health Promotions aim to increase the knowledge of students in Ciamis District about prevention of hypertension. Health Promotion were carried out by explanation and discussion of 130 students in Ciamis District who were collected at WISMA GURU Ciamis on March 6, 2018. Before and after Health Promotion, participants were given a knowledge questionnaire and the results were processed using SPSS Version 16. Health Promotion instruments used flyers and power point presentation. Health Promotion of prevention of hypertension early has done successful and has a positive impact on increasing the knowledge of students and society.
