The underlying aetiology include autoimmune disorder, nervous degeneration due to loss of inhibitory ganglion in myenteric plexus of oesophagus, presence of inhibitory neurotransmitters such as nitric oxide and its receptors in lower oesophagus. Achalasia is characterised by oesophageal nonperistaltic contraction and incomplete relaxation of lower oesophageal sphincter. The common symptoms are dysphagia, regurgitation, and heartburn. Case report discussed below is of a 38 years old female patient presented with dysphagia for two years. The symptoms of which worsened for one month along with vomiting after consumption of food.

Consumer cooperatives (hereinafter referred to as "co-ops") are an expected retail market. However, under the increased competition with other formats in the shrinking domestic rice market, the use frequency of coops by coop members has consistently decreased over the past decade, meanwhile, their frequency of supermarket use has continued to rise. Furthermore, by 2015, the frequency of coop use had already been equaled or exceeded by supermarkets, even when purchasing rice which was being recognized as the strategic commodity item. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to find out the causal factors as the determinants influencing the store choice by coop members towards coops when purchasing rice by running a specified binomial logit regression model based and reviewing on the analysis results by Liu et al. (2017). As well, revealing whether any changes occurred in the determinants during the past several years by comparing the situation of 2015 with 2006 in order to provide some recommendations for present co-ops' rice retailing business is additional purpose of this paper.

Although they have many advantages, supermarkets have not replaced wet markets as the leading retail outlets for fresh food. Currently, the two types of market compete but coexist. The study uses suvery data gathered from December 2015 to January 2016 in Nanjing, which is an important central city of China, to creat a Hedonic model that tests the causal relationships of quality and price among wet markets and supermarkets. The main conclusions are as follows: i) Supermarkets have a quality advantage, while wet markets have a price advantage; ii) For sales of fresh vegetables, supermarkets concentrate on high quality and high prices; and iii) In addition to the quality differences, supermarkets have other distinguishing advantages, such as variety, convenience, environment, and service characteristics.

In Villa Rica there are several marketing channels: intermediaries, private companies, cooperatives and associations. The intermediaries focus solely on higher prices while marketing organizations offer benefits to their members. The main aim of this paper is to analyze the socioeconomic characteristics that influence coffee farmers to join a formal organization vs. those who distribute their product through intermediaries. A survey of 60 producers was carried out in June 2011 in Villa Rica. A binary logistic model was used in order to show how these characteristics affect farmers' choice of which marketing channel to use to distribute their product. The results demonstrated that farmers who are keen to receive technical assistance participate in the marketing organizations. These coffee marketing organizations should look for ways to improve the extension component through training and knowledge transfers to smallholder farmers.

In this paper, Robust Principal Component Analysis (RPCA) and Formant Manipulation (FM) have been used to embed the watermark into the host speech signal. RPCA involves obtaining the sparse component of the speech signal for accurate embedding, extraction of the watermark and FM involves modifying the formants by exploiting the properties of Line Spectral Frequencies (LSFs). A non-blind watermark detection scheme has been proposed to detect the watermark which demonstrates better stability and accuracy. Results of performance evaluation reveal that the proposed technique is robust and the watermark embedded is imperceptible. Also, the robustness of the method is verified by testing against several speech processing attacks.
