Hal ini dikarenakan kegiatan menulis yang menuntut pengorganisasian ide yang baik sehingga tulisan dapat terbaca telah menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi siswa. Terlebih, kegiatan menulis seringkali menimbulkan kecemasan ketika dihadapkan dengan batas waktu namun siswa dituntut jeli dalam pemilihan kata, penggunaan grammar yang benar hingga koherensi konten. Oleh karena itu, terlepas dari kompleksitas yang ada pada kegiatan menulis tersebut, model pembelajaran sangat berperan penting dalam membantu siswa keluar dari kesulitan kesulitan tersebut. Motivation is one of the most important factors and greatly influences the learning process. The ... more Motivation is one of the most important factors and greatly influences the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine how the level of motivation of students in the speaking class during the new nomal era, namely the second semester students of the English Department of IAIN Bengkulu. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. The techniques used in collecting data were questionnaire and interview. The questionnaire consists of 36 questions divided into intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The data are presented statistically using percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation division. The results showed that the mean score of intrinsic motivation (3.89) was higher than the average score of extrinsic motivation (3.39). However, the overall motivation average of 3.68 is considered a high level of motivation despite currently studying in the Covid-19 pandemic conditions. The method employed in this study was descriptive qualitative. The sample consisted of two English teachers in SMAN 4 Mukomuko. The researcher used 5 main values of character education as the research limitation in conducting this study. The technique of data collection were observation, interview, and documentation. The result of this study shows that teachers in SMAN 4 Mukomuko have implemented the 5 main values in strengthening character education, such as religion, nationalism, integrity, independence, and mutual cooperation value. The teachers show and teach the value of character education in the school well. They have been carried out quite well in the teaching and learning process. The objective of this study was to know whether there is any effect between the time constraints ... more The objective of this study was to know whether there is any effect between the time constraints of students when doing exams using (extended time) with students who take exams using (non-extended time). The sample used in this study amounted to 60 grade 11 students in SMA 03 Kaur. The method used in this research was the quantitative method and uses ex post facto design. In collecting data the author gives multiple-choice exam questions consisting of 50 questions, these are questions in the form of narrative texts. In analyzing the data, the authors used the Mann Whitney U-Test in SPSS 16.0. The results of this study indicate that the influence of time constraints on student examinations using extended time.

This study aims to describe students' perceptions of learning English online during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research used descriptive quantitative method. The subjects analyzed consisted of two different department groups at University of Prof. Dr. Hazairin, S.H in the 2019/2020 academic year. The number of respondents was 66 participants. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire distributed in the form of a Google form regarding student perceptions of the application of online English learning.
