Melastoma malabathricum L used for folk medicine to many disease. It contains flavonoid, phenolic... more Melastoma malabathricum L used for folk medicine to many disease. It contains flavonoid, phenolic, steroid, triterpenoid and alcaloid. Flavonoid has been reported to its activity as antioxidant. In this research, antioxidant, cytotoxic activity, and content of total phenolic activity test had been done for from senduduk fruit extract. Antioxidant activity of ethyl acetate, methanol, hexane and aquadest extract with DPPH method are shown as IC50 values are 8,785 mg/L (R2 = 0,7723), 14,33 mg/L (R2 = 0,8342), 57,51 mg/L (R2 = 0,8628) and 129,823 mg/L (R2 = 0,9717) respectively. The most total phenolic content is in ethyl acetate extract, which is 37,6352 mg/L. Since the Antioxidant activity is proportional to the amount of phenolic in sample, the amount of free radical can be inhibited is also higher. The best cytotoxic activity is showed by hexane and methanol extract with LC50 values are 474,46 mg/L (R2 = 0,966) and 485,143 mg/L (R2 = 0,993) respectively.
