This article highlights five of the features ofthe post 60's architectural studio environment, which make it into a specific kind of creative generator: discipline, social interaction, notation, multi-media and critique. Architects have traditionally played down the disciplinary knowhow and compound expertise that they have mastered for a long time, and that has shaped the work environment of the studio. With the discovery of their creative bubble by more PR-savvy branches of the economy, architects need to wake up and lay claim to the conceptual tools that they have developed over many decades. False modesty should no longer parade as a virtue.

The study examined the impact of workplace mobbing as causal factor of neurotic personality and employees' intention to leave in SouthWest , Nigeria. It made use of descriptive survey on the target population made up of lower and middle level non-academic staff of five selected private institutions of higher education in SouthWest Nigeria with the sample size of 322 respondents. The researchers used primary method of data collection through adapted questionnaire to elicit response on a likert scale coded with numerical values for ease of data analysis. Frequencies and descriptive statistics were used to make inference from data collected. The study found that workplace mobbing had a moderately high impact on neurotic personality and employees' intention to leave in SouthWest , Nigeria. It was established from the analysis that workplace mobbing fuelled neuroticism and employees' intention to leave in the selected private institutions of higher education across the areas of the study.

Quality characteristics of coffee-like beverage from roasted date seeds (Phoenix dactylifera, L.)... more Quality characteristics of coffee-like beverage from roasted date seeds (Phoenix dactylifera, L.) were determined and compared with those of traditional Arabic coffee. The date seed beverage was found to have lower amount of total phenolic compounds and to be a less powerful antioxidant than Arabic coffee. Phytochemical screening showed that date seed extracts contained steroids, tannins, and coumarins, while caffeine, terponoids, saponins, alkaloids, anthraquinones, and anthocyanins were not detected. The levels of trace elements in the date seed extracts were within the ranges reported for Arabic coffee with the exception of cadmium (0.16-0.42 compared to <0.1 in Arabic coffee). The sensory evaluation revealed that the date seed extracts were acceptable but were slightly lower in quality compared to Arabic coffee. The date seed extracts were lighter in color, less cloudy, less bitter, and have less coffee flavor compared to the reference Arabic coffee. Before roasted date seed extracts will be approved for human consumption, their possible estrogenic effects need to be evaluated.

However, over-exploitation of the groundwater is causing a series of environmental and geological problems. Thus it is essential to ensure sustainable development of groundwater and control the worsening of groundwater related environmental problems in the City. Practical scenarios of groundwater recovery based on several different water resources artificial regulation scenarios are designed to reduce exploitation after the completion of water diversion from Nen River Expansion Project. These scenarios include three different exploitation reducing scenarios and scenarios of artificial recharge based on reducing exploitation. The simulation results of Visual Modflow indicate that both reducing exploitation and artificial recharge based on reducing exploitation can accelerate the recovery of groundwater table in the confined aquifer. Considering the speed of the recover...

surveillance study of pregnant women reported to Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ... more surveillance study of pregnant women reported to Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States from April to December 2009 identified hospitalization rates among pregnant women suffering from pandemic influenza to be more than four times compared with general population resulting in a maternal mortality rate of 4.3% among symptomatic pregnant women. [4] Nearly two-thirds (64.5%) of maternal death occurred in the third trimester and nearly one-third (30%) of infected women had pre-term delivery. [4] Trends appear to be similar in reports from Australia and New-Zealand with pregnant women having greater complications due to 2009 pandemic influenza compared to earlier reports of seasonal influenza. [5] Clinicians who happened to treat pandemic influenza would agree that the trend was similar in India, but a systematic observation on the illness in pregnancy is not available. Although WHO has declared officially that "world is no longer in phase 6 of the pandemic due to influenza and we have moved to
