This study aims to analyze student needs for teaching materials in the chemical laboratory manage... more This study aims to analyze student needs for teaching materials in the chemical laboratory management course. This research is a survey research, where the participants are 41 students of chemistry education study program who are actively participating in the learning of chemical laboratory management courses. The instrument used is a questionnaire, and the results are analyzed by calculating the percentage of answers for each statement item. The results showed that students were interested in the chemistry laboratory management course but found it difficult to understand, so students felt bored and unmotivated. Students search for material from various sources on the internet, and feel the need to develop teaching materials for chemical laboratory management courses in the form of e-modules equipped with learning videos for all topics of chemical laboratory management courses.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kebutuhan adanya modul mata kulia... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kebutuhan adanya modul mata kuliah kewirausahaan terintegrasi STEM topik pakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ikan mujair. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa semester 7 Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Sriwijaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif, dimana peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata uji validitas angket yaitu 0,763 dan uji reliabilitas angket yaitu 0,963 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 30,8% mahasiswa sangat setuju dan 69,2% mahasiswa setuju adanya modul pembelajaran kimia pada mata kuliah kewirausahaan dengan topik pakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ikan mujair yang dibutuhkan di era pandemi covid-19 dan berminat untuk melakukan budidaya ikan mujair.

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Science Technology Society Env... more The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Science Technology Society Environment approach and reflective inquiry strategy (STSE-IR) in Food Chemistry on carbohydrate topics to practice Evaluative Thinking skills. This research was conducted at the Chemistry Education Study Program in one of the state universities in South Sumatra. The research subjects were students who took the Food Chemistry course in the odd semester of 2018/2019. Research data collection was carried out in August-November 2019. The type of research used was descriptive research. Researchers Obtain information from the implementation of chemistry lectures through observations and Student Work Sheets. The instruments used are observation sheets and Work Sheets Students. Data collection techniques through observation and analysis of Work Sheets documents. The results of the study are as follows. The steps for lectures on Carbohydrates by Lecturers who were observed by observers have been carried out according to the STSE-IR approach stage. The results of the student Work Sheets assessment showed that the average implementation of the STSE-IR approach was 86.15%. Carbohydrates Lecture using the STSE-IR Approach has trained students' evaluative thinking skills. The STSE-IR approach can be used on other topics in food chemistry and other interdisciplinary courses and other thinking skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa multimedia untuk materi titrasi asam basa kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Alessie dan Trollip (perencanaan, perancangan dan pengembangan). Kevalidan multimedia pembelajaran diuji oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli pedagogik. Kevalidan materi memiliki rerata skor sebesar 0,58 dengan katagori validitas sedang, kevalidan media memiliki rerata skor sebesar 0,90 dengan katagori validitas tinggi dan kevalidan pedagogik memiliki rerata skor sebesar 0,89 dengan katagori validitas tinggi. Praktikalitas multimedia dilihat dari rerata angket pada tahap uji beta. Rerata skor kepraktisan 0,89 dengan kategori kepraktisan tinggi. This community service aims to provide training to high school/vocational high school chemistry teachers in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra to carry out simple practical activities based on green chemistry. This service activity consists of 3 main stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The target audience for this community service activity are 24 high school chemistry teachers from Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. And furthermore, it is hoped that chemistry teachers who attend training can guide their chemistry teacher colleagues in their place. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah Lahat 2015-2016 academic year which amounted to 25 students. The method used in this research is Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), which is conducted in 2 cycles. Before the research study of students learning outcomes was 48% (12 students) with an average of 72.4. Based on the result of the research, in the first cycle, the students learning achievement is 68% (17 students) with an average of 70,8 and 70,4% student activeness, and the second cycle of student learning result is 88% (22 students) with an average of 81,2 and student activeness equal to 85,6%. The questionnaire was given to 89 active students of chemistry education at Sriwijaya University who were selected using a non-probability sampling technique. The results of the questionnaire were then analyzed using descriptive statistical tests. The results of this study indicate that students understand the qualifications needed as an undergraduate and are in the process of achieving this, and they agree to develop problem-solving integrated chemical literacy based basic chemistry modules as teaching materials that can help them to achieve the competences. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasy experimental). Data penelitian diambil dari data tes siswa, rata-rata hasil posttes siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 84,13 dan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 77,35.Data tes dianalisis menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan syarat tolak H0 apabila –1,998<thitung<1,998 tidak terpenuhi, hasil yang diperoleh pada thitung sebesar 3,531. Dengan demikian, H0 ditolak artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe giving question and getting answer terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa SMAN 1 Indralaya.
