Biochemical analysis indicated that Stevia leaves are a good source of carbohydrate and reducing sugar. Different extraction methods were used to prepare four different dry extracts (Extract A, B, C, D). Total soluble sugars and reducing sugars were analyzed for these four dry extracts and commercial Stevia powder. The highest amount of total soluble sugar (477 mg sugar g-1 dry extract) was obtained from extract C and higher amount of reducing sugar (82 mg g-1 dry extract) was obtained from extract D among the extracts. But commercial Stevia powder showed higher total soluble sugar content (754 mg g-1 dry powder) and highest amount of reducing sugar (98 mg g-1 dry extract) than all the extracted dry samples. The extraction process of dry extract C was feasible for the extraction of total soluble sugar. For the phytochemical screening, crude extract was tested for the presence ...

From the produced soot, C60, C70 and C84 are extracted and purified by the liquid chromatography method. C60, C70 and C84 thin films with a thickness of 1–4 μm are produced by the vacuum sublimation method, and their dielectric properties are investigated. Both the real and imaginary parts

The prepared nanostructures have been characterized by using scanning electron microscope (SEM). The shape of the electrochemically deposited ZnO follow rod like structure on ITO electrode, CuNPs follow irregular spherical shape when electrodeposited on ITO electrode. Oxidation of ascorbic acid on bare ITO electrode is favorable than that of ZnO modified ITO electrode but Cu-NPs/ ZnO composite electrode had high sensitivity and stability and showed higher catalytic current for glucose oxidation. It was found that the time dependences of both the dark conductivities and photoconductivities of higher fullerene films are of the same pattern as those of a C film in oxygen gas. These electric 60 conductivities quickly decrease after the films are exposed to oxygen gas or air. Both the dark and photoconductivities of C and 60 C films are much higher than those of higher fullerene (C , C and C) films in vacuum. However, the dark conductivities 70 76 78 84 of these fullerene films after 24-h treatment in oxygen gas become of the same order of magnitude. The degree of reduction and saturation times of the electric conductivities of higher fullerene films in oxygen gas are smaller and longer, respectively, than those of C and C films.
