Methods: A total of 50 cases with age group 15 to 50 years were enrolled. A detail history, clinical examinations and relevant investigations were performed to all cases. Patients who were diagnosed with systemic lupus erythamatusus (SLE) by using American Rheumatologic criteria with or without ocular features were included in this study. Results: Data was analysed by using simple statistical methods with the help of MS-office software. All data was tabulated and percentage was calculated. Conclusions: Females were commonly suffered with systemic lupus erythamatusus (SLE) and it was commonly seen in age 15-25 years. Episcleritis was the most common symptoms in SLE. Second most common symptoms were conjunctivitis and scleritis. Right eye was more affected than left eye. Most of the cases had ANA positive. Hence, ocular manifestation is the most common in SLE patients. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment may give light of hope for SLE patients. And more research is needed in order to determine which therapy will provide the best prevention and management in SLE patients.

Methods: A detail history, clinical examinations and relevant investigations were performed to all cases of amblyopia. Cycloplegic refraction under atropine sulphate 1 % eye ointment for 5-10 years and eye drop homatropine 2 % for 11-20 years age group was performed. Management material was tissue paper and micropore tape for patching. It was done in the form of 3 hours or 6 hours patching. Visual improvement tested every month upto 3 months and then after 3 months by Snellen’s distant visual acuity or Landolt C chart. Results: Data was analyzed by using simple statistics methods with the help of MS-Office software. Conclusions: Amblyopia was commonly seen in children. Anisometropic amblyopia was very common. Refractive error was commonly seen in cases with hypermetropia with astigmatism, myopia with astigmatism and hypermetropia. Majorities of these cases had 2-4D and 4.25-6D refractive...

Methods: A detail history, clinical examinations and relevant investigations were performed to all female thyroid cases. Thyroid hormones were estimated by chemiluminiscence method using Siemens Advia Centaur XP instrument. Electrolyte levels (Na+, k+ & Cl-) were measured by ion selective electrode method using Eschweiler combi. Results: Data was analyzed with the help of SPSS (version 26) software. Paired samples statistics was used. Mean ± standard deviation and t value were calculated. P value was taken less than or equal to 0.05 (p ≤ 0.05) for significant differences. Conclusions: This present study concluded that electrolytes sodium, potassium and chloride levels were significantly reduced in hypothyroidism female cases compared to euthyroids female (controls). This suggests that hypothyroid patients should be regularl...

Methods: A detail assessment and relevant investigations were performed to all paediatrics OCT. And globe injuries were recorded according to the BETT. Occular injury was examined by using equipment model OCT 2000 by TOPCON at IGIMS, Patna. Treatment was given depending on type and severity of injuries. Patients were followed up on day 1, day 7, 1 month, and at 6 months. Initial best corrected visual acuity was evaluated on first day of follow up. And final best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was evaluated on last day of follow up after 6 months. Results: Data was analysed by using simple statistical methods with the help of MS-office software. All data was tabulated and percentage was calculated. Conclusions: Age group 0-10 years and males were more prone to ocular trauma. Stick, stone RTA and fall were more causative risk for OCT. School, home, Road t...

Methods: A complete assessment, general physical examination and routine haematological investigations were performed to all patients. A complete fundus examination was done with the help of direct and indirect Ophthalmoscope. Biochemical investigations (Blood Sugar- Fasting and Post Prandial, HbA1C level) were performed. Patients were called for follow up after 1 month, 3 months and 6 months. Results: A total of 100 patients of diabetes retinopathy were enrolled in this study. Most of the cases 67(67%) were males with age group of 51-60 years. out of 191 eyes, most of the cases 72(37.7%) had PDR. Rest cases had 58(30.36%) severe NPDR, 46(24.08%) moderate NPDR, 9(4.71%) others and 6(3.14%) mild NPDR. HbA1c levels of the most of the cases 94(49.21%) had 6.5-8.5. Most of the patients 170(89.53%...
