We present key abstractions that allow Pyro controllers to run unchanged on a variety of real and simulated robots. We demonstrate Pyro's use in a set of curricular modules. We then describe how Pyro can provide a smooth transition for the student from symbolic agents to real-world robots, which significantly reduces the cost of learning to use robots. Finally we show how Pyro has been successfully integrated into existing Al and robotics courses.

CFD was used to carry out the analysis of this heat exchanger. Fluent software was used to project the pressure distribution. The effectiveness of base fluid and nano fluid was simulated and compared. The base fluid used was water and nano fluid used for the analysis was Al 2 O 3. Rate of heat transfer was inspected. It was established from the results that Al 2 O 3 was more effective as compared to base fluid. The role of eddy viscosity had been also discussed.

Quality purchasing design (QBD) is emerging to increase the promise of providing safe and effective medicines to customers and promises to improve the efficiency of product quality. Quality means eligibility for use. The quality of the medication means that the product provides therapeutic benefits to the label reproducible and free from contamination on the label. In vivo or in vitro performance test can be evaluated for drug production. Dinette by Quality guarantees the performance of the product in vitro and the performance of the in vitro product in the in vivo product. So the quality design is related to the product.

Suppose that θ, φ are endomorphisms of R. An additive mapping F : R −→ R is called a generalized (θ, φ)-derivation on S if there exists a (θ, φ)derivation d : R −→ R such that F (xy) = F (x)θ(y) + φ(x)d(y), holds for all x, y ∈ S. Suppose that U is a Lie ideal of R such that u 2 ∈ U , for all u ∈ U. The main result of the present paper states that if F is a generalized (θ, θ)-derivation on U which also acts as a homomorphism or as an anti-homomorphism on U , then either d = 0 or U ⊆ Z(R).

Usually, a Distributed Network like ad hoc networks are deployed in untrusted environments. Therefore, authentication is a pioneer to any secure interactions in these networks. Recently, v a r i o u s a u t h e n t i c a t i o n p r o t o c o l s h a ve b e e n proposed for ad hoc networks. In distributed authentication services in ad hoc networks. Two nodes authenticate each other via signed, unforgeable certificates released by a "virtual" trusted certification authority. Compared with regular network authentication solutions [28, 29] that rely on physically present, third-party trusted (certification authority) server(s), our design takes a self organized securing approach, in which multiple nodes (say, k) collaboratively serve the role of a certification authority server. Therefore, the authority and functionality of the authentication server are spread to each node's locality. Any local k nodes are trusted as a whole and collaboratively provide authentication services. This paper describes the authentication procedure and a classification that clarifies similarities and differences among authentication protocol described in the literature. The classification is based upon the role of nodes in the authentication function, establishment of certificate, and type of certificate.

Normally, reliability issues are of major importance in power distribution system. Thus, a composite reliability index is used in the proposed work as the objective function in the optimization process. Furthermore, the effect of multiple DG placements on power transfer capacity (PTC) and power loss reduction (PLR) have been addressed. Simulations are carried out based on two practical distribution systems to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Moreover, an adaptive weight particle swarm optimization (AWPSO) and particle swarm optimization with constriction factor (PSO-CF) are developed for comparison purpose. The proposed algorithm results obtained indicate reliable placement of DGs with improved performance indices.
The present study investigates the cardioprotective effect of pyrazolone derivatives (PYZ1-PYZ10)... more The present study investigates the cardioprotective effect of pyrazolone derivatives (PYZ1-PYZ10) on plasma lipid profile, serum marker enzymes, endogenous enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants in cardiac tissues against isoproterenol (ISO) induced myocardial ischemic injury in rats. Pretreatment with the pyrazolone derivatives at 10 mg/kg body weight for 5 days prevented the elevation of serum marker enzymes namely lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), aspartate transaminase (AST), alanine transaminase (ALT) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in myocardial injured rats. ISOinduced animals exhibited decreased levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione (GSH) in the heart, which were restored to near normal levels following treatment with pyrazolone derivatives. These derivatives also attenuated lipid peroxidation (LPO) in the heart and improved the imbalance in lipid profile (TG, LDL, VLDL, HDL) caused by ISO. These findings revealed the cardioprotective effect of pyrazolone derivatives against isoproterenol induced myocardial injury.

Here we considered a mass balances equation on the floc particle in conjunction with Fick’s law. The governing partial differential equations are then solved using MATLAB and observed that the oxygen concentration become less at middle of the floc while it is high at the surface of the floc.

The structures of the synthesized compounds were then elucidated using UV, IR, 1 H NMR and mass spectral data. The synthesized derivatives were screened for anticonvulsant, antibacterial and antiviral activities. All the compounds showed remarkable antibacterial activity at 250 µg/ml, but FM4 and FM3 did not show any inhibition on Staphylococcus aureus and Vibriocholera, respectively. All the compounds showed significant anticonvulsant effect at 100 mg/kg p.o. and the experimental data were statistically significant at P<0.001 level. But none of the compounds was effective against Japanese encephalitis virus.

The process parameters considered are green strength, clay content, and pouring tempera- ture. The result shows that green strength is the significant parameter while clay content and pouring temperature are non - signifi- cant parameters. Literature Review Response surface method (RSM) has been widely used in sev- eral optimization problems. Myers et al.(2004) suggest that re- sponse surface framework has become the standard approach for much of the experimentation carried out in industrial re- search, development, manufacturing, and technology. Choud- hary and Baradie,(1997) used response surface methodology with factorial design to determine the effects of cutting param- eters (feed , speed , depth of cut) on the surface roughness in the turning of steel. Shaik riyaz hussain, et al (2012) determined the influential process parameters and their optimal levels which will yield optimum quality to the aluminum casting using Taguchi pa- rameter design approach. Sushil Kumar et.al (2010) used the optimization technique for sand casted iron differential hous- ing. Taguchi approach has improved the productivity and sta- bility of the iron differential housing. Mekonnen Liben Nekere, et.al (2012) In this paper Taguchi's robust design approach was used to obtain optimal value of two groups of aluminum black sand casting process i.e. single aluminum blank sand and double aluminum blank sand casting. Normally, reliability issues are of major importance while planning of an advanced power distribution system. This paper introduces an efficient planning including distribution automation devices to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the power distribution system. The proposed algorithm can determine the set of non-dominated solution by simultaneous optimization of economic cost and overall system reliability using the pareto-optimality based trade-off analysis. Furthermore, the proposed approach is suitable for the multi-objective optimization of “n” number of conflicting objectives simultaneously. The performance of the proposed approach is assessed and illustrated on a 54-bus distribution system, considering real-time design constraints and meeting the additional requirements that the designer imposes. Furthermore, a qualitative comparison is made with NSGA-II and multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO), to show the efficacy of the proposed planning approach.
