In other words, the companies would like to penetrate global markets due to the CEO's international entrepreneurial orientation. In addition, by utilizing their networks, the companies would like to improve their international performance. Relatively few studies have been devoted to investigating the empirical relationships between entrepreneurial orientation, networks, and international performance. In particular, technology-based firms are one of the best samples. Therefore, this study aims to explore the characteristics of the firms and then investigate comprehensively and empirically the relationships between international entrepreneurial orientation, networks, and international performance, based on data from technology-based firms in South Korea. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study analyzes data from technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using structural equation modeling (SEM). It assumes that networks will play a moderating role in the relationships between international entrepreneurial orientation and international performance. We carried out the survey after conducting interviews with CEOs of SMEs. Findings/Results: International entrepreneurial orientation has a significant effect on international performance. Moreover, the stronger the networks that SMEs have with other stakeholders such as universities, industries, and technoparks, the higher their international performance. With stronger networks, tech-based SMEs have easier access to useful technologies and hence better international performance. Research Limitations/Implications: There are some limitations to this study. First of all, the study relied heavily on quantitative methods, such as surveys. This approach is inadequate for considering individuals' in-depth opinions. Therefore, future research utilizing both qualitative and quantitative measures needs to be carried out. Second, this study has some academic limitations. In fact, this study considered restricted factors regarding innovation and networks; thus it is necessary to evaluate other variables such as environmental factors (e.g., regulations or support policies) that might be significantly associated with networks and innovation hereafter. Finally, due to the fact that this study was focused on SMEs, it is difficult to generalize the above results. However, this study implies that stronger network ties improve international performance, thus SMEs must establish and reinforce networks to improve the performance.

By sampling factors of individual investors related with crypto-currency (CC), the study applies structural equation modeling method (SEM) to investigate their effects on switching intention by integrating PPM and Reinforcement Sensitivity theories (RST) to form a pulling, pushing and mooring effects model. The investigation indicates that crypto-currency market can be regarded as a kind of beneficial supplement of tradition investment market for those individual investors who are with high innovativeness, reward sensitivity, knowledge and perceived risk. This study proves that the individual investors are not only attracted by significant expected return from crypto-currency but also relevant knowledge and risks disclosed by crypto-currency market regulators and distributors. The findings reinforce major roles for both market regulators and individual investors in considering and providing insights for future policy, management and investigations.

Despite the number of studies on employee job satisfaction, much remains unknown regarding the mediating role of employee job satisfaction in the relationship between management characteristics (such as supervisor humility and abusive supervision) and employee creativity. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate how the links between supervisor humility, abusive supervision, and employee creativity are mediated by employee job satisfaction. Design/Methodology: We collected data from 352 highly skilled employees of manufacturing organizations in the Republic of Korea by conducting an online survey. A structural equation modeling procedure was used to evaluate the validity of the proposed hypotheses. Findings/Results: The results demonstrated that supervisor humility is positively related to employee job satisfaction, while abusive supervision is negatively related to employee job satisfaction. The findings also indicated that employee job satisfaction mediates the relationships between supervisor humility, abusive supervision, and employee creativity. Originality/Value: This work is the first to evaluate employee job satisfaction as a mediator of the link between characteristics of management (such as supervisor humility and abusive supervision) and employee creativity.

Most factors affecting the investment decisions of South Korean and Chinese institutional investors in Cambodia are investigated based on UTAUT theory. Perceived asset price and perceived asset quality proves to have a significant effect on perceived asset value, whereas perceived financial risk proves to have a significant negative effect on the relationship between perceived asset value and investment decision for the Chinese group, but not for the South Korean group. Facilitating conditions proves to have an important effect in investment decisions for the South Korean group, but not for the Chinese group. Furthermore, perceived asset value, social influence and performance expectancy prove to have a significant effect on investment decisions for both groups. Although both South Korean and Chinese institutional investors are plentiful in Cambodia, the investigation indicates that they maintain symmetry in investment competition due to their different preferences in investment objects and types. The results reinforce major implications in offering a more symmetrical and fair competition environment for both Cambodian regulators and multinational institutions.

Design/methodology/approach: The data were collected from 390 employees of manufacturing companies in the Republic of Korea. To assess the validity of hypotheses we used a structural equation modeling procedure. Findings: The findings suggest that empowerment mediates the relationships among moral and authoritarian leadership styles and employee innovative behavior. However, results indicate that employee innovative behavior does not mediate the associations between benevolent leadership style and employee innovative behavior. Originality/value: Our work is the first to investigate the mediating role of empowerment on the link between paternalistic leadership styles such as benevolent, moral, and authoritarian and employee innovative behavior.

Numerous studies have attempted to find their characteristics; however, relatively few studies have been devoted to exploring softer factors such as human resources or networks with other innovators such as universities and government agencies, not hard factors such as available cargo and cargo processing ability. Therefore, this study aims to examine both hard and softer factors perceived by 232 South Korean and Chinese regional innovators, TOC; the empirical relationships among these characteristics, networks among regional innovators such as industry-university-government networks (I-U-G networks), and regional innovation, the moderating role of the I-U-G networks in improving the regional innovation, and the comparative analysis between Chinese and Korean cases. To achieve these research purposes, an empirical model was employed. As a result, excepting government support policy, remaining variables significantly affected regional innovation. Further, the I-U-G networks moderated the relationships between determinants and regional innovation. These results imply that establishing effective I-U-G

Respondents were 750 highly skilled full-time employees of manufacturing organizations in the Republic of Korea who completed a self-administered survey. Structural equation modeling was used to evaluate the hypotheses of our study. The findings demonstrated that centralization and formalization were negatively related with empowerment. Empowerment was positively associated with employee innovative behavior, and played a mediating role among centralization, formalization, and innovative behavior. We recommend that managers of organizations establish self-managed teams that are able to make decisions autonomously, and that managers use a less formalized organizational structure to enhance employee empowerment.

Participants were 628 full-time employees of 27 heavy-industry companies in South Korea. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were performed to test our hypothesized model. The results revealed that power distance induced acquiescent silence; however, power distance did not have any impact on defensive silence. Collectivism also generated acquiescent silence but did not influence prosocial silence; and punishment increased defensive silence.

To conduct the analysis, the study applies structural equation modeling (SEM) to understand the direct effects of entrepreneurial on market and technology orientations and the direct effects of market and technology orientations on firm performance. This research is based on a study of 347 technologies intensive Korean SMEs and the major results are as follows: The results indicate that entrepreneurial orientation directly affects market and technology orientations. This result implies that entrepreneurial orientation is key factors that influence market and technology orientation in Korean SMEs. Another finding suggests that market and technology orientations positively affect firm performance. It appears that Korean companies require the capability to serve technology well, but also need to recognize new business opportunities from within their current market relationships. The implication here is that for Korean technology intensive small firms, entrepreneurial orientation can improve market and technology orientations. The results suggest that to achieve high levels of firm performance, Korean companies need to balance the elements of entrepreneurial, technology and market orientations.
