Media framing refers to the deliberate selection and presentation of information in a manner that influences people's perception and reaction to specific aspects of an issue. The major objective of this study was to investigate how Bangladeshi Print media frame the Russa-Ukraine Conflict (RUC) during the conflict period. Methods: The study comprised of scrapped data from the online version of two newspapers the Daily Star (n=1135) and New Age (n=728) news items related to the Russa-Ukraine conflict from 24 February 2022 to 24 February 2023. The news stories were scraped utilizing Python's web scraping package Beautiful Soup. The data is analyzed adopting the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling technique to determine the dominant framings like top keywords, top key phrases, and the most highlighted topic of the Russa-Ukraine war. Results: The frequency analysis of the Daily Star showed Ukraine (n=7,112) and Russia (n=5,884) being the most frequently used words, similarly New Age depicted Ukraine (n=4,901) and Russia (n=3,655

Method We conducted this study using data from the 2017-18 Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS), sourced from the DHS website. The survey employed a stratified two-stage sampling method, which included 7,658 women and 7,048 men aged 18 and older who had their blood glucose levels measured. We utilized chi-square tests and ordinal logistic regression to analyze the association between various selected variables in both urban and rural settings and their relationship with diabetes and prediabetes.

Social media platforms have emerged as powerful communication tools for individuals with ASD, enabling information sharing, support, advocacy, and awareness. Methodology: This study explores Bangladeshi Public Facebook Groups (PFGs) dedicated to ASD, focusing on group content and audience engagement. Employing a mixed-methods approach, qualitative and quantitative data were gathered to achieve the research objectives. The data collection process involved analyzing 300 posts from the top 3 PFGs related to ASD in Bangladesh, along with conducting questionnaire interviews among 60 group members. Result: Results revealed that 33.7% of group posts serve informational and promotional purposes, with occupational therapy (26.7%) and autism centers (25%) being the most prevalent topics of discussion. The comments within these groups encompassed various types, with 33.94% being reciprocal and 27.18% affirmative in nature. Among the surveyed members, 26.7% found personal stories and support to be the most valuable form of information, followed by access to resources (16.6%). Group members also provided suggestions for enhancing PFGs, with an emphasis on improving engagement and support networks (33.33%) and increasing access to local services and professionals (26.7%). The study disclosed that 67% of interviewees believed that PFGs effectively kept members informed about autism-related resourcefulness in Bangladesh. Conclusion: This study explored Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Facebook Groups in Bangladesh, revealing diverse discussions on therapy, centers, and daily activities, with valuable support and personal stories, highlighting the importance of community en-How to cite this paper:

This study aimed to find the prevalence and factors associated with mobile phone addiction (MPA) among university students in Bangladesh. METHODS: This study recruited 379 participants by a self-administrated online based equestionnaire using a cross section design. Leung's Mobile phone Addiction Index Scale was used to assess MPA. In addition, logistic regression analysis was used to explore the associated factors for MPA. RESULTS: The overall prevalence of MPA was 42.2 % among the current university students. However, the addiction rate was 45.7 % among <25 years old participants. Spending time on the social media sites and lose sleep due to late night internet device activity were the reasons for MPA among university students in Bangladesh. Participants age less than 25 years and studying in undergraduate level had a higher chance of MPA. CONCLUSION: This study exposed that the prevalence of MPA was comparatively higher among younger participants. Spend time on social media sites and lose sleep due to late night internet activity are the most significant determinants of MPA. Thus, raising awareness among the younger generation is most important to reduce MPA. The findings of the study can be used to support health and educational organizations design programs that will help prevent MPA among university students in Bangladesh.

The primary objective of this study was to assess the extent of knowledge, attitudes, acceptability, and factors influencing COVID-19 vaccination acceptance among higher secondary and university students in Bangladesh. Subject and methods A structured questionnaire-based online survey was conducted among 451 students residing in Khulna and Gopalganj cities from February to August, 2022. The willingness to accept the COVID-19 vaccine was compared with a few covariates using the chi-square test, and we then used binary logistic regression to identify the determinants that led Bangladeshi students to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Results During the study period, almost 70% of the students obtained immunizations, with 56% of men and 44% of women reporting having done so. The age range of 26-30 years had the highest percentage of students who had received vaccinations, and 83.9% of students agreed that the COVID-19 vaccine is crucial for students. The results of the binary logistic regression clearly show that gender, degree of education, and respondents' willingness, encouragement, and beliefs have a significant impact on students' eagerness to receive COVID-19 vaccination. Conclusion The rising trend in vaccination status among Bangladeshi students is highlighted by this study. Additionally, our results eloquently demonstrate that vaccination status varies by gender, education level, willingness, encouragement, and respondent's viewpoint. The outcomes of this study are essential for health policy makers and other interested parties to successfully organize their immunization program for young adults and children at various levels.
