National Orientation Agency and other sister organizations for now, have not done enough in orientating the citizens on how to be selfless in service delivery. In promoting effective service delivery, the Nigerian government needs to focus on reshaping, rebuilding the mentality of those that are in positions of delivering services to the people. The findings of this study links factors such as lack of proper orientation, poor training, ineffective communication channels, attitudes of workers, corruption. The study applied secondary method of data collection to analyze the effect of poor service delivery in the development of Nigeria;it outlined the implications associated with a failed service delivery system.Further the studyrecommended strategies; strict adherence and implementation of this will improve service delivery, thereby, reducing more likelihood of failure.

Nigeria bags the largest labour force of its continent; this labour force was described by World ... more Nigeria bags the largest labour force of its continent; this labour force was described by World Bank in 2014 as underutilized and unutilized with a high level of redundancy and dependency ratio. The unsatisfactorily result of low productivity of workers and underdevelopment is evident in the huge decline in the country's GDP. It's also observed that unresponsive labour force in a typical backward economy automatically translates into low income and low savings. This is worrisome to the government and the entire citizens due to the fact that the deadly impact of low productivity and lack of innovation cuts across all sectors of its economy including unemployment increase, poverty, poor infrastructural development etc. Stiffening labour productivity is an imperative component to this shift and to making the economic growth flexible and sustainable. The aim of the study was toidentify the impediment to workers low productivity, innovation and sustainable development for economic growth. Five research questions were formulated for the study and primary data was retrieved form 264 respondents through structured questionnaire. The study applied five point likert type of rating scale and mean was used to analyze data responses. In attempt to answer the research question investigation revealed that infrastructural development and work environment is part of the impediment that affects workers increased productivity and continuous innovation. Applicable strategies which includes employees motivation, conducive work environment and advance infrastructural development were recommended by the study for aggregated productivity that will in turn increase economic growth.

Nigeria is yet to utilize Digital technology in the delivery of services in most recognized organizations in different sector of its economy; this vacuum has contributed to workforce low productivity that requires immediate attention. Nigeria as a country needs to focus on its infrastructure establishment thereby creating reliable and affordable broadband for businesses future stages of digital transformation. Researchers affirmed that new technology introduced in any workplace arrives with an explicit aim to aid workers to become productive. From a theoretical point of view, the impact of digital transformation in an organization is ambiguous. It creates greater centralization as professional activities are monitored, it also enables employees to work more autonomously which aids an organization to attain greater heights. To fulfill the objective of this paper, systematic review of existing literature on digital transformation was presented, its plans and phases to avert low productivity at workplace was duly discussed. Further the study explored LeaserFiche digital transformational Model which consists of five phases of transformation for effective digital transformation in a workplace.

It is also instilled in young girls that women has no say over a man which is an epic mindset, this has also limit female leadership potential in Nigerian work environment. Some of the religious and traditional norms in Nigeria belief that a girl child education is a waste of resources and that a woman's qualification ends in the kitchen. The gender inequality has silenced the voice of women, all these plays a setback role for women in pursuing their carriers. National development of an economy can improve effectively with the active participation of women in the labour force. According to World Bank in 2016, Nigeria has 49.34% of female population, in 2017 about 45.44% in labour force this percentage constitute employed and underemployed. There is a fact which research has proven that an economy that lacks female contribution will gradual decline. The study investigated the constraints affecting women labour force participation, self-designed questionnaire were applied in retrieving data from 750 female respondent in the North-Central and SouthEast geopolitical zones of Nigeria. Findings indicate that education is the major attribute to decline of female in the labour force participation of Nigeria. The study further noted the policies by the government that are yet to be realistic and concluded with possible recommendations that can alleviate women from the impediment of labour force participation.

Early girl-child marriage is a barbaric act, man's inhumanity to man, is a common practice in mos... more Early girl-child marriage is a barbaric act, man's inhumanity to man, is a common practice in most developing countries. Every minute a girl-child is married off against her will, education attainment terminated and dreams aborted by this reoccurring act. This has called for a clarion call and a serious concern to the international community at large. The research seeks to look inwardly into variables that invigorate the common practice, how it affects the Nigerian society and the way forward. Secondary and primary source were applied in retrieving data for the study, 296 self-administered questionnaires were completed by female respondent between the ages of 10-45years. The location of the study was kastina state, the Northern part of Nigeria where early girl-child marriage is predominantly high. Two research hypotheses were tested using Chi-square and the result shows that early girl-child marriage has a negative effect on Nigeria. The study recommended feasible and applicable way forward to abolish and manage the victims of early girl-child marriage.

Several scholars have previously studied the source and effects of conflict handling styles on the performance of workers and arguments has erupted on the destructive nature of conflict and as well as it profitability. This research was basically captured on Nigerian managers to ascertain how they deal with conflict which they already view as inevitable. Using a self-designed questionnaire 507 responses were obtained from Nigerian managers across selected organization, from the data it was discovered that traditional view of conflict ranks the highest in Nigerian workplace. Four research questions were formulated for the research and data responses were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. From the study, Nigerian managers apply more of collaborating, accommodating and compromising styles in handling conflict. The study further recommended 3D leadership model which is referred to as situational demand and the practical application of principle negotiation in dealing with conflict for improve productivity in Nigerian workplace.
