Drafts by Blanca Botero
This document briefly presents the conceptual and investigative explorations underlying the art work, a big-format & immersive installation consist of hand-drawn hanging paper, a neon sign, and Arduino-controlled light play. The minimum dimensions required to the exhibition space are: 5m. (length) x 3.50 m. (width) x 3.50 m (height)
The installation results from crossing two immersive sensorial experiences: one is the contemplation of life on a Lily pond, and the second one is the hypnotic, hallucinatory and des stabilizing experience in the city of Hong Kong, plus a link to Bruce Nauman's 1986 EAT WAR.
