An evolutionary algorithm copies the way how evolution occurs in the nature . There are various types of evolutionary algorithms. This paper focuses on Genetic, ACO and PSO algorithms. Genetic algorithm provides solution to various optimization problems. It follows the principle of "survival of the fittest". Various problems such as knapsack problem, TSP(travelling salesman problem) can be solved using genetic algorithm. Ant colony optimization is a heuristic algorithm which follows the behavior of ants i.e, the way ants seek food in their environment by starting from their nest. Particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSO) is also an optimization algorithm which also uses a method of searching using some heuristics.

Fake online accounts pop up every day. Spammers are the users behind the screen who share unsolicited and irrelevant texts to a huge number of users with an intent of advertising some product or to make people to click on unsecured links and infecting user’s system usually to make money (click bait). They often use Trending topics on social media as a medium to spam. Sometimes, spam and fake trending is created by Spammers and many a times spammers use Trending topics to lure victims into clicking them. Much research has been done and is going on to detect spammers in OSNs. This paper reviews the existing techniques to detect spammers in social media. Our Current study and future work provides an overview of the traditional classifiers, Naïve Bayes, Support Vector and how they are used to detect spam and classify a dataset taken from social media into trending and non-trending topics based spam.

A primary malignancy of the lymphoid system like Hodgkin or Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. A Metastatic lesion of a solid tumor. Generalized lymphadenopathy is seen in a large number of systemic illnesses while localized lymphadenopathy is more often seen with local infection or malignancy. 6. First step in developing better therapies is the recognition of distinct specific disease entities by pathologists. Since there is no specific treatment for most forms of reactive lymphadenopathy, even a non-specific diagnosis is ABSTRACT Background: Lymphadenopathy is one of the most common clinical presentations among patients of all ages. This study has undertaken to study the histological patterns in various non-neoplastic condition, lymphoma and metastatic carcinoma in patient with lymphadenopathy and to do the clinico-pathological correlation with respect to age, sex and site of lymph node involved. Methods: Total 266 cases of lymph node biopsy were studied, for a period of 28 months at Pathology department, Government Medical College, Surat, Gujarat, India. Tissues were adequately fixed in formalin and blocks prepared, sections cut and slides were prepared, stained by routine H&E stain. A complete and thorough histopathological examination of all the slides was undertaken. Results: A total of 266 cases were studied, age range was 1-75 years, 136 were males and 130 were females. Out of 266 cases, 96 cases (36%) were non-specific lymph node hyperplasia, 81 cases (31%) were of metastatic deposits in lymph node, 70 cases (26%) were of specific non neoplastic conditions and 19 cases (7%) were of lymphoma. Conclusions: Lymph node biopsy plays an important role in establishing the cause of lymphadenopathy. Among the biopsied nodes, non-specific lymph node hyperplasia was the most common followed by metastatic deposits, specific non neoplastic conditions especially tuberculous lymphadenitis and lymphoma. Non neoplastic conditions were more common in early age while neoplastic conditions were more common in late age. TB lymphadenitis was more common in HIV positive patients as compared to general population.

In our case a male patient, aged 27 years, presented with feeling of swelling and discomfort in the left parapharyngeal region. CT findings suggestive of soft tissue mass in prestylar region on left side. A transcervical excision of the tumor was performed and histopathological examination of H & E stained sections show biphasic tumor composed of epithelial and spindle cells components. The epithelial areas show glandular structure lined by cuboidal cells while spindle cells areas show densely cellular fascicles surroundings the epithelial cells. Immunohistochemistry shows strong positivity of cytokeratin, vimentin and weak positivity of S-100, BCl2, CD99 and SMA. Synovial sarcoma may be mistaken for other tumors due to its rarity. Treatment is essentially surgical, requiring wide margins; radiotherapy is usually associated. The value of chemotherapy has yet to be assessed. C-23 Primary parapharyngeal biphasic synovial sarcoma

However, there are reports of iron deficiency in a proportion of these patients, which can often be missed because they exhibit already anemic condition. Objective: To evaluate the iron status and to determine the incidence of iron deficiency in sickle cell disorders including subjects with SCD, sickle cell trait (SCT), and compound heterozygosity. Materials and Methods: A total of 155 subjects were included in study; 138 of these showed homozygous sickle cell anemia (SS) and 17 sickle cell trait (AS). Presence of HbS was detected by solubility test, followed by hemoglobin phenotype determination by automated HPLC. The measurement of serum iron and total iron-binding capacity was done by ferrozine method, serum ferritin by radioimmunoassay, and zinc protoporphyrin (ZPP) by using ProtoFluor-Z Hematofluorimeter, while hematological parameters were determined using a Sysmex Kx21 autoanalyzer. Result: Of the 155 patients studied, 7 (4.5%) showed iron deficiency and 33 (21.3%) showed iron overload. Iron and serum ferritin values in transfused patients were significantly higher than in nontransfused patients. The mean reticulocyte count was significantly lower in iron deficient group than that in iron sufficient group. The ZPP values were elevated in all iron deficient and the 39 of 148 iron sufficient/overloaded subjects; however, ZPP values were much higher in the iron deficiency group. Conclusion: A state of iron deficiency may be present in SCD and SCT patients. Therefore, we recommend that patients with SCD and SCT should be screened for iron deficiency by conventional laboratory tests.

Frozen section and Squash smear cytology can offer the same. As brain tissue is friable & predisposed to show ice crystal artefacts, frozen section is often difficult to interpret. Squash smear examination provides good cytological details to offer diagnosis in most cases except where anatomical correlation is needed. Present study was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of Squash smear in absence of frozen section facility. Aims & Objective: To evaluate the value of Squash smear cytology for rapid intraoperative diagnosis in CNS lesions and its correlation with final histomorphological diagnosis. Material and Methods: Total 35 case of CNS tumours were examined by squash smear technique for cytomorphological analysis followed by histomorphological correlation on paraffin section. Results: Complete correlation with histomorphological findings was observed in 82.35% of cases. Complete correlation was observed more with glial neoplasm. Conclusion: Squash smear preparation proved to be a simple, inexpensive and rapid technique for intraoperative consultation of CNS tumours and can be effectively utilized as a diagnostic tool for intraoperative diagnosis in absence of frozen section facility.

Although breast cancer is an epithelial malignancy, stroma plays a key role in its development and pathogenesis. Stromal markers are now emerging as novel markers in assessing the prognosis of invasive breast cancer and have not been studied extensively till date. The aim of the present study is to study the stromal expression of CD10 in breast carcinoma, find its relationship with other prognostic markers and study the role stroma plays in breast cancer pathogenesis. A total of 70 cases of breast cancer were included in the study. Representative sections were taken and hematoxylin and eosin staining was done. Immunohistochemistry was performed with ER, PR, Her2neu and CD10. Stromal expression of CD10 (>10% stromal positivity was considered positive) in invasive breast carcinoma was noted and was statistically analyzed with different known prognostic markers of breast carcinoma. Stromal expression of CD10 wa...
