Load forecasting/estimation is of great value to Power system studies and its inspection. In this paper, the study of short-term load forecasting concerning the Roorkee region situated in the north of India (Uttarakhand state) was explored. Historical data in the form of load flow in hourly rate was provided to the Artificial Neural Network from the previous set of days. Hourly-rate forecast has been done for optimally estimating the load flow in the given region. The comparison of estimated load flow is done with the real time data to get the measure of its accuracy. Thus, acceptable load estimations have been done without the added complexity of weather data interference. The obtained results convey the sustainability /suitability of the methodology used in the paper for short-term load forecasting. The design includes selecting a resembling day load as the input load and use Artificial Neural Network for predicting the value of load at any particular time of the day. The performance of the neural network is tested through an extensive study of the hourly-based data from the Roorkee region. The estimated output shows the hourly load utilisation in the region. The data has been predicted for the fore coming week from that of the historical data

Aims The aim of the project was to get a baseline of the number of patients who have had blood te... more Aims The aim of the project was to get a baseline of the number of patients who have had blood tests, ECG and physical health observations completed in the past 12 months. Method There are 30 patients under Early Intervention in Psychosis team at Bassetlaw Hospital , Nottinghamshire. The elctronic notes and blood reporting system were checked for each of the patients, to get the data on blood test results , ECG reports and Physical health (Blood pressure, heart rate and weight) . Result It was noted that 19/30 patients had Blood tests completed, 14/30 had ECG completed and 19/30 had physical health checks completed. All these patients except one were on antipsychotic medications. Conclusion Further work is still required in getting 100% results for all these different variables. This may include the need to review the process of how we engage the patients for physical healthcare checks. Sentimental analysis (SA) indicates the text organization which is employed to categorize the expressed feelings or mindset in diverse manners like favorable, thumbs up, positive, unfavorable, thumbs down, negative, etc. SA is a demanding and notable task that comprises i) natural-language processing (NLP), ii) web mining and iii) ML. Also, to tackle this challenge, the SA is merged with deep learning (DL) techniques since DL models are efficient because of their automatic learning ability. This paper emphasizes recent studies regarding the execution of DL models like i) deep neural networks (DNN), ii) deep-beliefnetwork (DBN), iii) convolutional neural networks (CNN) together with, iv) recurrent neural network (RNN) model. We have three medical students from Sheffield University on six week psychiatry placements at Bassetlaw Hospital and we get eighteen students in a year. In order to further develop their approach towards reflection and their understanding towards the doctor patient relationship we developed the Balint style case based discussion group, and each group of students attend three sessions during their placement. Method The groups are held on a weekly basis and consist of the three medical students and 1-2 facilitators. As the group is small one of the facilitators may participate with the students for the Balint process and to help encourage the students. Following completion of the third session of the discussion group we gain written feedback from the students. In the daily operation of farming and gardening, watering is the most important cultural practice... more In the daily operation of farming and gardening, watering is the most important cultural practice. Considering the weather type may be both too hot or too cold, controlling and monitoring the garden can be done. The manual activities of watering the plants are being replaced. In this regard, we have proposed this idea to overcome the setbacks of regular sprinklers. Various sensors had been used for sensing the various parameters of the soil, the water level of the tank. The sensed parameters and motor status are delivered as a message through GSM Module and can monitor the status through web-enabled devices using IoT. The objective of the proposed idea is to save water and manual intervention. The most important objective is to automatically stop the atomizer or sprinkler if there are any human interventions. The moisture level of the soil measured and the plants are irrigated with the required amount of water. The water level of the main tank is also measured and intimated.

High resolution sonography is the imaging modality of choice by which normal anatomical and pathological features of thyroid can be demonstrated. In this study the ultrasonographic features of various thyroid lesions in patients with thyroid disorders is evaluated and these sonographic findings were correlated with FNAC. METHOD : After approval of institutional ethical committee 62 patients were enrolled in the study with informed written consent. Patients were evaluated sonographically and those patients who had lesions on ultrasound were subjected to FNAC. Biofertilizers are the substances that contain microbes, which help in promoting the growth of crops, plants, and trees by increasing the supply of essential nutrients to the plants. Azolla filiculoides is an aquatic heterosporous fern, grows in symbiotic association with Anabaena azollae. It aids in nitrogen fixation which increases the fertility of the soil and in turn enhances the yield. This article describes an effort to enlist and understand the mass production of Azolla filiculoides and its potential role in enhancing the vegetative attributes of tomato.

Prediction of any currency is performed for identifying and quantifying uncertainties, estimating... more Prediction of any currency is performed for identifying and quantifying uncertainties, estimating their impact on results with real-time market value. In this paper, the Bayesian regularization artificial neural network (BRANN) and Levenberg–Marquardt artificial neural network (LMANN) are compared in terms of their prediction abilities. Four cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, Litecoin, and Ripple price have been taken for comparing their prediction capabilities. The BRANN and LMANN are found suitable for the prediction because both models are used for prediction of time series data and do not depend on any historical features like trends or seasonality. They provide their prediction based on training data. The network outputs are compared in terms of mean percentage error. It is found by experiment that BRANN gives less error than LMANN for large size data. But the performance of both neural networks is less same for small size data.

Microalgae samples (Isochrysis galbana and Nannochloropsis sp.) were collected from phytoplankton laboratory, Tuticorin Research Centre of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute. The culture media of I. galbana and Nannochloropsis sp. were taken for the preliminary synthesis of SNPs. Hence, Nannochloropsis sp. was not synthesized for its SNPs, I. galbana was selected for further study. Culture media, cell filtrate and supernatant of I. galbana were subjected to the SNPs synthesis in order to find out the maximum yield of silver with low chloride content. Among these, the supernatant of I. galbana showed maximum yield with low chloride content. It was confirmed by colorimetric reading at 450 nm. But the adiabatic technique is highly dependent on parameter variation. With the help of MICROWIND simulations, the energy consumption is analyzed by variation of parameter. In analysis, two logic families, ECRL (Efficient Charge Recovery Logic) and PFAL (Positive Feedback Adiabatic Logic) are compared with conventional CMOS logic for inverter NAND and NOR circuits. Though various innovations have come with implant sterilization, designing, fixation and robotic surgery, the long-term issue is to find an optimum patient-specific hip implant which suits the patient’s requirement. The aim and objective of the proposed study was to design a highly accurate patient-specific hip implant by standardizing the existing design and to prove that customized design is better than the conventional design. The geometric measurements of hip were performed in hip CT image using MIMICS 20.0 software. The implant design was carried out using Solid-works. The designed implant is meshed and analysed using FEA. From the comparative study of the FEA analysis, it was proved that customized implant was best fit for the patients than the conventional implant.

High resolution sonography is the imaging modality of choice by which normal anatomical and pathological features of thyroid can be demonstrated. In this study the ultrasonographic features of various thyroid lesions in patients with thyroid disorders is evaluated and these sonographic findings were correlated with FNAC. METHOD : After approval of institutional ethical committee 62 patients were enrolled in the study with informed written consent. Patients were evaluated sonographically and those patients who had lesions on ultrasound were subjected to FNAC. STASTICAL ANALYSIS : The data was analysed by SPSS 16.0 with independent chi square test. Increasing population often drive up demand for food, which typically results in additional use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides etc. There is an increasing concern that continuous use of chemical fertilizers on soil depletes its essential nutrients. Biofertilizers are the substances that contain microbes, which help in promoting the growth of crops, plants, and trees by increasing the supply of essential nutrients to the plants. Azolla filiculoides is an aquatic heterosporous fern, grows in symbiotic association with Anabaena azollae. It aids in nitrogen fixation which increases the fertility of the soil and in turn enhances the yield. This article describes an effort to enlist and understand the mass production of Azolla filiculoides and its potential role in enhancing the vegetative attributes of tomato.

In this paper, the Bayesian regularization artificial neural network (BRANN) and Levenberg–Marquardt artificial neural network (LMANN) are compared in terms of their prediction abilities. Four cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, Litecoin, and Ripple price have been taken for comparing their prediction capabilities. The BRANN and LMANN are found suitable for the prediction because both models are used for prediction of time series data and do not depend on any historical features like trends or seasonality. They provide their prediction based on training data. The network outputs are compared in terms of mean percentage error. It is found by experiment that BRANN gives less error than LMANN for large size data. But the performance of both neural networks is less same for small size data.

Microalgae samples (Isochrysis galbana and Nannochloropsis sp.) were collected from phytoplankton laboratory, Tuticorin Research Centre of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute. The culture media of I. galbana and Nannochloropsis sp. were taken for the preliminary synthesis of SNPs. Hence, Nannochloropsis sp. was not synthesized for its SNPs, I. galbana was selected for further study. Culture media, cell filtrate and supernatant of I. galbana were subjected to the SNPs synthesis in order to find out the maximum yield of silver with low chloride content. Among these, the supernatant of I. galbana showed maximum yield with low chloride content. It was confirmed by colorimetric reading at 450 nm. By adiabatic technique dissipation in PMOS network can be minimized and some of energy stored at load capacitance can be recycled instead of dissipated as heat. But the adiabatic technique is highly dependent on parameter variation. With the help of MICROWIND simulations, the energy consumption is analyzed by variation of parameter. In analysis, two logic families, ECRL (Efficient Charge Recovery Logic) and PFAL (Positive Feedback Adiabatic Logic) are compared with conventional CMOS logic for inverter NAND and NOR circuits. It is finding that adiabatic technique is good choice for low power application in specified frequency range.

In this project, we proposed an automated computer platform for the purpose of classifying Electroencephalography (EEG) signals associated with left and right hand movements using a ENOBIO DEVICE.EEG signals were acquired on the Enobio device, with all 8 channels (F3, F4, FZ, P3, P4, CZ, C3 and C4) in alpha and beta rhythm in order to establish the active networks. Six volunteers were participated; the volunteers were instructed to perform motor imagery tasks and movements using both hands, and both legs. Though various innovations have come with implant sterilization, designing, fixation and robotic surgery, the long-term issue is to find an optimum patient-specific hip implant which suits the patient’s requirement. The aim and objective of the proposed study was to design a highly accurate patient-specific hip implant by standardizing the existing design and to prove that customized design is better than the conventional design. The geometric measurements of hip were performed in hip CT image using MIMICS 20.0 software. The implant design was carried out using Solid-works. The designed implant is meshed and analysed using FEA. From the comparative study of the FEA analysis, it was proved that customized implant was best fit for the patients than the conventional implant.
