The survey is carried out by taking both primary and secondary data. The primary data we have collected by asking questionnaire to the lower income villagers having bank accounts from Basundhara coal mines area of Sundergarh district, Odisha and secondary data from Economic Outlook of CMIE Prowess database. A total of 127 respondents have answered 12 statements in five point likert scale. The scale is designed to judge the degree of agreement with the statements which are based on demonetisation impact on digital financial inclusion. The descriptive statistics and paired t-test are used to analyse the data. The findings suggest that the demonetisation has positively affected the digital financial services provided by the bank. It also found that the villagers are perceived that the use of digital financial services is risky. To the authors' knowledge this paper is the first attempt to document for examining the impact of demonetisation on digital financial inclusion in India by considering both primary and secondary data.

A survey of consumers has been made to meet the objective of the research. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) is conducted to identify different dimensions of CSR perception of consumers and subsequently the impact of these dimensions of CSR on purchase behaviour is tested using multiple regression analysis. CSR perception of consumer has been factorised into four dimensions: instrumental CSR (ICSR), normative CSR (NCSR), non-voluntary (NVCSR) and legal CSR (LCSR). ICSR and NCSR are found to positively impact purchase intention and willingness to pay; whereas LCSR negatively impacts purchase behaviour and NVCSR has no influence on consumers.

This research paper aims to critically appraise condition of such shelters, vis-à-vis common services mandated to be provided at each shelter by the Supreme Court of India. A survey of shelters was conducted in four cities of Uttar Pradesh (viz., Allahabad, Varanasi, Lucknow and Agra) spanning a sample of 426 shelter-inmates. Analysis has been done in two stages: evaluation of common services on the basis of their significance as perceived by inhabitants, and assessment of significant services to check their availability and functionality. Factor analysis has clubbed nineteen such services under five factors (named as: entitlement to schemes, hygiene & recreation, cooking support system, ambience, and drinking water & conservancy). Findings reveal large scale unavailability of services and bring to light the appalling condition of shelters in the cities surveyed. This study may be useful in framing a focused policy for providing shelters to homeless people in urban areas by identifying services considered significant by inmates and ensuring availability of such services.

The study found that CSR expenditure and financial performance of the firms have positive and significant relationship which implies that social responsibility taken up by energy firms yields them financial benefits. Hence, it is recommended that it is beneficial for the firms to engage in CSR activities in order to sustain and grow. The major contribution of the study is a validated model of relationship between CSR expenditure and financial performance of the firm.
