Preprocessing of data involves feature selection due to substantial amount of data and degree of dimension attribute. The concept of attribute reduction is introduced by Pawlak rough set theory for computational efficiency and accuracy. This process helps eliminate unnecessary attributes. Rough neutrosophic set is an extension of traditional rough set by hybrid of rough set and neutrosophic set theory. This paper introduced novel approach by integrating rough set and neutrosophic set to reduce data dependency. The formal principle is introduced for rough neutrosophic attribute reduction by using indiscernibility relation. Besides, we proposed the effective of rough neutrosophic set theory in selecting features. For the purpose of gaining a better understanding of proposed method, the algorithm of heuristic reduction is constructed for attribute reduction for data pre-processing. It contains seven steps of distributed jobs to produce the final output which is reduct. The result shows the impact of rough neutrosophic set on attributes, especially in term of dependency and reduct.

Literature suggests that there are many types of risks in financial management such as liquidity risk, interest rate risk, equity risk, commodity risk, just to name a few. However, authentic risk that can be associated to financial crises are very inconclusive and unpredictable. This study aims to identify the financial risks that affecting financial management using the proposed ranking trapezoidal fuzzy numbers method that based on circumcenter. Five decision makers which are experts in financial management were requested to provide evaluation against a set of eight financial risks. The proposed method of circumcenter, which considers area, spread, and distance of trapezoidal fuzzy numbers are applied to financial risk management. The result shows that ‘credit risk’ is the highest risk value compared to other seven risks. It is also suggested that ‘commodity risk’ is the lowest risk in financial management.

However, the existing methods remain inadequate for us to conclude the most efficient method. In this paper, we propose the Horner-Muller’s method (HM’s method) for solving IT2 FPs. This method is proposed in light of the success of the Horner’s method and Muller’s method in solving the IT2 FPs. Two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the implementation of the HM’ method in producing the approximated solutions. A comparative analysis is also provided in this paper. The numerical results show that the HM’s method successfully produces the approximated solution for the IT2 FPs with a minimum number of iterations, compared to the Horner’s method and Muller’s method.

Decision making which involves human judgments is always imprecise and subjective. Fuzzy AHP has been introduced to cater those deficiencies in traditional AHP. One of the vital issues in Fuzzy AHP is the consistency measure. The studies in that problem has been explored by many scholars, however, many applications still ignore the consistency measure in their works. Therefore, this paper aims to introduce the Cosine Consistency Index (CCI) proposed by Kou and Lin into Fuzzy AHP. The proposed methodology is applied to the case study of Setiu Wetlands coastal areas in Setiu, Terengganu to weight the factors of coastal erosion. The obtained results show that land use/cover change (17.4%) is the most contributing factor towards the coastal erosion. It is followed by sea area class (14%), erodibility (11%), population density (10.1%), shoreline evolution (9.9%), sedimentary discharge (8.7%), tidal range (7.2%), storm surge (7.1%), wave height (4.9%), budgetary revenue of local government (3.6%), relative sea level (3.3%) and coastal protection (2.8%). The proposed methodology is applicable to many other decision making problems. The applied cosine consistency index into the Fuzzy AHP evaluation process makes the obtained results more plausible and convincing.

However, due to lack of exposure and knowledge to mechanisms of neuroscience and Adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS), both elements are not optimally applied in educational measurement and evaluation settings. Therefore, based on the findings of neuroscience through the AGES model and the ANFIS formulation as well as the mathematics learning model, this paper will discuss the development of a conceptual model for predicting students' neuroscience mechanistic. The significance of this model is to reveal students' mathematical learning ability and analyze the causes of weaknesses or attributes that affect learning.

This investigation specifically studies the coastal erosion in Setiu Wetlands coastal areas which located in Terengganu, Malaysia. The single valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) is used into the DEMATEL instead of crisp numbers. Twelve factors of coastal erosion with three dimensions were identified from literature review and consultation with group of experts. By considering the interrelationships among factors, DEMATEL is applied to acquire the importance and cause-effect relationships among the influential factors of coastal erosion. Obtained result reveals that coastal development gives a significant influence in contributing coastal erosion. The result from this study offers an insight for stakeholders to understand cause-effect relationships among coastal erosion factors in which can provide a precautious short or long term strategies.

However, along with this growth, there are concerns regarding the limitation of the BM and its extensions where interrelationship between arguments is limited to a pair of input arguments. In contrast to previous works, a novel normalized weighted Bonferroni mean aggregation operator considering Shapley fuzzy measure has been introduced, where the overall interactions of input arguments are combined. Unlike other extensions of BM that are mostly considered under fuzzy environment, this aggregation operation introduces the Shapley fuzzy measure to deal with interactions of all arguments under the interval-valued neutrosophic environment. Specifically, the interval-valued neutrosophic Shapley normalized weighted Bonferroni mean (INSNWBM) is proposed in this paper. The properties of INSNWBM such as reducibility, idempotency, monotonicity, commutativity, and boundedness are also presented as to reflect the interrelationship among multiple input arguments. In addition, we have also proposed successive steps of a decision-making procedure in which the proposed INSNWBM is included. Together included is a numerical example as to illustrate the applicability of the INSNWBM in decision-making. The consistency of the ranking results is confirmed by variations of parameters of INSNWBM. It is shown that the ranking results are almost consistent despite the different usages of parameter values. Results obtained appear to support the idea that the proposed aggregation operator is able to address the interrelationship between arguments in decision-making.

In this paper, a combined decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) with single-valued neutrosophic sets is proposed to solve the decision problem. This new model combines the advantages of multiplicative inverse of decision matrix in DEMATEL and neutrosophic numbers in linguistic variables, which can find the interrelationship among factors of decision problem. Differently from the typical multiplicative inverse of DEMATEL, which directly used inverse of matrix using real numbers, this method introduces the concept of inverse of matrix using the proposed left-right neutrosophic numbers. This step will enhance the validity of multiplicative inverse of decision matrix in the DEMATEL with neutrosophic numbers. The proposed neutrosophic DEMATEL is also be compared with the DEMATEL and fuzzy DEMATEL. This paper includes a case study that demonstrates the applicability of the neutrosophic DEMATEL in establishing the relationship among influential factors of coastal erosion. Extensive empirical studies using 12 factors of coastal erosion were presented to study the benefits of the proposed method. The result unveils the cause-and-effect relationships among the factors, where seven factors are identified as cause factors and five factors are grouped as effect factors. It is discovered that the factor 'imbalance sediment supply' gives a significant influence to coastal erosion. It is also shown that the degree of importance of the factors is almost consistent with the other two methods despite differences in type of numbers used in defining linguistic variables.
