It is a medium for communication and interaction among individuals, groups, institutions and business partners. Enormous amount of information is generated by WhatsApp in velocity, volume and variety which can serves as a source for various analyses, prediction and for other purposes. In this paper, dataset was collected from WhatsApp Group Chat, FUDMA ASUU MATTERS (FAM), a chat group of lecturers from Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina state Nigeria. The primary goal is to present detailed analysis of the WhatsApp group chat to ascertain the level of involvement and participation by members in the group. Detailed analysis of fact such as the number of messages sent in different format, the most active date and time as well as the most active user(s) is to be investigated. Text classification method with Python and Jupyter notebook was used. The Python li...

The method is based on an established mathematical relationship between generated energy, demand and storage, allowing one to determine energy deficit and supply interruption periods. Autoregressive and time series models were used to generate daily synthetic series data from a set of hourly estimated global irradiance for the city of Petrolina in Brazil. The proposed method facilitates the assessment of the performance of several possible BESS, indicate the risk of energy deficit and the possible frequency of energy interruption.

People still unfamiliar with the notion of utilizing tobacco leaves for another purpose. This paper will try to propose a new way to derive benefit from tobacco leaves into biofuel. The method will be done through literature review. The study was focused on 3 things, mainly the potency of tobacco leaves in Indonesia, obtaining and handling raw material and potential market of biodiesel itself. This research resulted that currently, tobacco need to develop in Indonesia because Indonesia is a potential country in the development of biodiesel, especially biodiesel made from tobacco. We also concluded that biodiesel from tobacco has an advantage in terms of increased productivity of oil and biodiesel from tobacco mixed by ordinary diesel can produce lower combustion emissions and improve the performance of diesel engines. Also the market of biodiesel prod...

Macroscopic/ organoleptic characters, microscopic, chemo-microscopic characters, numerical standards, and elemental analysis were determined from the whole plant of C. filiformis. Findings from this study revealed the presence of some diagnostic microscopical features such as paracytic stomata, unicellular covering trichomes with cystoliths, prismatic calcium oxalate crystals and annular xylem vessels. Quantitative physical constants include moisture contents (5.5 %), ash value (17 %), acid insoluble ash value (1 %), total tannins (27.3 %), swelling index (165 %), water, ethanol and oil extractive indices (20.6, 13.6 and 1.6%, respectively). Trace metals such as Fe (165.4279 ppm), Mn (14.4093 ppm) and Ni (2.7933 ppm) detected in C. filiformis were higher than FAO/WHO (1984) permissible limit for edible plants, While others: Pb (0.0568 ppm), Zn (0.1094 ppm), Cd (0.0103 ppm) and Cu (0.0535 ppm) were found to be within the safety limit. The aim of this work was to study the pharmacognostic, characters, elemental analysis and numerical standard of C. filiformis.

Convenience sampling technique was used in administering questionnaires to the 60 respondents who responded to the survey. It was found out that the extent of application of facilities management in the subject properties is better described as below average. Similarly, the most frequently tools of facilities management in use and employed in the properties were outsourcing and in-house sourcing. This was influenced by the level of their familiarity with the tools. Planned and Preventive maintenance should be taken regularly in order to enhance the effectiveness of the facilities management and to satisfy both the owner and customers of the organization.

It is associated with significant morbidity and consumption of scarce resources. It is a rare clinical condition but constitute a serious thoracic emergency despite advances in management. Imaging plays an important role in the diagnosis and management of pleural empyema. We present an 11 month old infant with a month history of fever, cough, shortness of breath and weight loss. Clinical diagnosis of bronchopneumonia with pleural effusion was made. Chest radiograph revealed right opaque hemithorax with central mediastinum. Computed tomography (CT) of the chest showed extensive right pleural effusion with compression of viable lung tissue. Ultrasound guided thoracocentesis drained about one litre of pus. Intravenous antibiotics were also administered. Repeat chest radiograph a week after the drainage showed marked reduction in the size of the previously noted opaque right hemithorax with remarkable improvement of the clinical condition.

The present arrangement of the revenue distribution formula laid much emphasis on the revenue derivation (revenue source) at the expenses of the financial needs of the state and local government. This subjected most of the states in the northern part of Nigeria to receive very little in spite been relatively densely populated compared with the other geopolitical regions. The repercussion of the foregoing is a massive proliferation of poor more especially in the northern-eastern geopolitical zone. This study critically examines the effect of budgetary allocation of national development. It was found in this paper that skewed budgetary allocation causes unbalance development leading to economic underdevelopment in the northern part of the country. The paper concludes that for Nigeria to achieve holistic national development, resources must be equitably distributed. Specifically, we recommend inward-looking policies that could absorb the bunch of unemployed youth thereby enabling them to contribute their quota toward achieving national development shall be rigorously initiated and vigorously implemented.

This paper investigates the use of FACTS devices, such as SVC and TCSC, to maximize power transfer transactions during normal and contingency situations. ATC is computed using Continuation Power Flow (CPF) method considering both the thermal limits and voltage profile. Cat Swarm Optimization (CSO) is used as an optimization tool to determine the location and controlling parameters of SVC and TCSC. The suggested methodology is tested on IEEE 14-bus system and also on IEEE 24-bus reliability test system for normal and different contingency cases.

The characterized base oils were used in drilling mud formulations. Behaviours of three different organoclays (organoclay wet A, organoclay Wet B, and organoclay Dry) in different base oils were studied. Effects of emulsifier concentrations (5 lb/bbl, 10 lb/bbl and 20lb/bbl) in muds of different brine concentration were determined, both before and after thermal aging. Effect of different oil-to-water ratio (65/35 and 90/10) on drilling mud rheology was studied before and after thermal aging. The application of a weighting agent (CaCl2) on drilling muds was also determined. GC-MS technique was shown to be a reliable and consistent technique for base oil characterization (both qualitatively and quantitatively). The result obtained using this technique was found to be of high significance using R2 values. Unknown b...

The empirical results revealed that there is a long run relationship energy consumption, CO 2 emissions and GDP. Both in the long run and short run, CO 2 emissions has been found to have a significant positive impact on GDP, meaning that an increase in CO 2 emissions facilitates GDP growth. On the other hand, energy consumption shows significant negative impact on GDP in the short run. We therefore, suggested that renewable source of energy such as solar and wind could be explored and considered as an alternative source of energy since Nigeria is well endowed with solar energy. This will assist in reducing CO 2 emissions and at the same time sustaining long run growth in GDP.

The review reveals that methodological approach to law, and in particular to the concept of right, are quite different under the two systems. Indeed, concepts in the two systems cannot generally be compared for a particular concept existing in one system may not exist in the other or may have different connotation in that other. It is against this backdrop that this paper concludesthat the concept of right as an important issue in the Western jurisprudence has entirely different basis and connotation under the Islamic jurisprudence if at all it exists under the jurisprudence. It is akin to what is known as hukmshar’i under the Islamic jurisprudence. The paper, therefore, recommends for comparative research in Western and Islamic jurisprudence on fundamental legal issues like the concepts of right, ownership and legal personality to aim at understanding the concepts under the two systems rather than harmonizing them or even finding their common denominators. The differences are so drastic that embarking on harmonization or establishing distinctive common features may be an exercise in futility.
