The PM samples were collected for 24 hours from two different locations at the University of Dhaka (Mukarram Hussain Khundker Building-MHK and Teacher Student Centre-TSC) using a low-volume air sampler from September to December 2021. The extraction of PM loaded filters followed by filtration resulted in a clear solution. Using UV-visible spectroscopy, the concentration of silica in the filtrate was evaluated by treating the filtrate with molybdate-3 reagent and an amino acid suspension. The average PM-bound silica concentrations at MHK and TSC were 7.72 and 33.86 μgm-3 respectively. Compared to MHK, the silica content in the ambient atmosphere of TSC was four times higher, owing to extensive metro-rail construction work at TSC. The contribution of silica to PM was 3.47% (Site 1) and 5.15% (Site 2). The Hazard Q...

Popular applications such as ezTalks, Zoom, Demio, Google Meet, LiveStorm have been used in seminars and online meetings. For every webinar activity, the organizers often carry out survey activities to see feedback from participants, google forms applications, survey monkeys, typeforms, zoho surveys, and gizmo surveys are used to see responses from all participants. In addition, several organizers also gave appreciation in the form of certificates. Meanwhile, the banking sector has a role to play in controlling the growing poverty, one of which is through financial inclusion. In some areas, the financial inclusion index has improved, indicated by the number of people who have switched from traditional savings to financial institution savings and have also reached the infrastructure of conventional commercial banks, but the fact has not yet reached the “usefulness of banking services”. So that financial inclusion is not really felt by the community. This study uses data from the March 2020 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and Podes 2020 to determine the effect of financial inclusion on core poverty. From the results of the logit regression estimation, it was found that financial inclusion had a strong effect on the status of core poverty in households when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in East Java (2020). In present study, a simple and robust reversed phase liquid chromatography (RP-LC) based analytical method was developed for the quantitative low-level determination of DMDBS. The best separation was achieved on a RP-HPLC column TSK gel G2000 SW, 7.5mm x 30cm, Particle Size 10 and#181;m from TOSOH Bioscience. A 0.05 M NH4AC (pH = 6.6) + 10% ACN solution was used as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.2 ml/min. UV detection was performed at 216 nm. Retention time was found to be 13.056 min. for DMDBS. The response was a linear function of concentration over the range of 2.00 to 8.00 and#181;g/ml with correlation coefficient of 0.9996 for DMDBS. The LOD and LOQ for DMDBS were found to be 1.00 and#181;g/mL and 2.00 and#181;g/mL respectively. The method is simple, rapid and robust, which is suitable for application in quality control and can also be used for the estimati...

PBL is a major component in the undergraduate medical curriculum at the Univeristi Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Objectives: The objective of this study was to identify the knowledge, attitudes and skills of PBL tutors of different status and backgrounds. Methods: A cross sectional study was carried out on 55 tutors with medical and non-medical backgrounds, of various academic positions, who conducted 94 tutorials. Respondents were 240 semester-1, year-1, UKM medical students of the academic session of 2007-2008. Data was collected at the end of last session of each PBL case tutorial, utilizing an evaluation form. Results: The majority of tutors possessed knowledge on PBL process and showed positive attitudes towards students learning. Facilitation skills varied among the tutors. However, no significant difference was found between tutors of medical and non-medical backgrounds. Conclusion: Problem processing or facilitation is a challenging task. This also depends on problem structure or designing of the problem. Every PBL tutor irrespective of their background and status must have adequate training on PBL facilitation skills and designing of problem based on critical evaluation of educational theory.

Characterization of the source involved correlational analysis, enrichment factor analysis, estimation of percentage sources, and air mass trajectory analysis. The average pH of fog water in Bhola was found to be 7.03 ± 0.02, demonstrating that acid-neutralizing components were successful in neutralizing acidifying species. The concentrations of the water-soluble ions were determined, and they were in the following order: Ca2+ > NO3− > Cl− > Na+ > SO42− > NH4+ > Mg2+ > K+ > F− > HCO3−. Of the six trace elements (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, Ni, Cr, Pb) that were analyzed, Zn ions were found in the highest concentration, followed by Mn ions. Neutralization factor analysis showed that the key neutralization components of fog...

The sequence of the prime numbers fulfils the criterion and the corresponding one-dimensional quantum potential is explicitly computed in a semi-classical approximation. The existence of such a potential implies that the primality testing can in principle be resolved by the sole use of physical laws.

This will lead to weaknesses in the calculation of votes such as a waste of money and time. This study aims to develop a website-based e-voting information system in the general election for the chairman of the RW which is expected to minimize the weaknesses of conventional elections. This system was developed to make the voting process more efficient and easy to use. This application is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, using the waterfall method. By doing black-box testing, it is hoped that the e-voting system can run well functionally without any error, and dummy variable testing to determine the influence of voters in selecting candidates based on graduation rate.

It forms the basis of the relations between doctors and society. Researchers believe professionalism is extremely important in medicine to alleviate medical errors. Professionalism is not inborn social characteristics. Intellects believe to safeguarding and upholding medical professionalism it is compulsory to include medical curriculum. Objectives: This study is aimed to compare the professionalism of future medical professionals between two medical colleges in Bangladesh. Materials and Method: The study was conducted at Gonoshashthaya Samajvittik Medical College (GSSVMC), and Enam Medical Colleges (EMC) in Bangladesh. It was a cross-sectional study conducted on 445 medical students of Year-III (127), Year-IV (205), and Year-V (113) MBBS students of session 2012-2013 selected conveniently from GSSVMC and EMC. Two hundred were from GSSVMC and 245 were from EMC. Data was collected using a validated instrument which contained core professionalism elements measured by 5-points Likert scale giving a maximum score of 220 with few open-ended questions. Results: Response rate of this study was 76%; 48% respondents were male and 52% were female. Mean professionalism scores for Year-III, IV and V were 173, 175 and 189 and for male and female were 179 and 178 respectively. No significant differences observed between gender (P=0.679). Significant differences were observed between study-year (P=<0.001) and also between total students 172 for GSSVMC and 183 for EMC (p=<0.001). However, 43% students were not precise about professionalism. Conclusions: Educators should focus to increase awareness on core professionalism elements.
