The main advantage of LDPC codes is their performance that works in near Shannon limit, and the ability to use iterative decoding algorithms. In 1989 N. Sourlas showed that error-correcting codes can be considered as Spin-Glass systems thus making it possible to model LDPC codes as an Ising model, opening the way for information theorists to solve coding problems with the power of statistical mechanics. According to N. Sourlas, the decoding problem can be solved by finding the ground state of the corresponding spin-system Hamiltonian. The main goal of this paper is to review as simple as possible the statistical properties of LDPC codes, and how it is used especially facing the decoding problem.

Each year, banks globally allocate approximately 20 percent of their revenues to innovate and protect their information system. During the coronavirus period, Moroccan banks have faced difficulties serving their customers, which led to the development of a bad relationship between the two sides and negatively affected the financial performance of banks. The Moroccan customers want to have 24/7 access to their banking services on their phones, on the web at home, and in physical branches. Even if digital banking applications have helped to provide options and to ease access to various banking services, many Moroccans who are less technologically engaged prefer in-person banking at the agency, which sometimes leads to overcrowded agencies. It has become necessary for the banks to propose new solutions to serve their customers while reducing the risk of covid-19 virus transmission. In this paper, we will present a solution based on the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in order to gain customer satisfaction by minimizing long wait times, reducing the number of people at the agency, reducing close interactions while managing a safe, smooth, and effective customer service.

The success of this mission could give rise of an Interplanetary DTN–Based CubeSat network, in which the CubeSat Nanosatellite, as DTN custody node, plays the role of Data Mule to collect data from rovers on a planet such as Mars. In order to maximize the contact volume which is the amount of transmitting data from rovers to the CubeSat during its pass over their service zone, we will need to design an efficient MAC protocol. This research focuses on the simulation and evaluation of the performance of the Slotted AlohaCA MAC Protocol on the planet Mars compared to Earth taking into account the different properties between the two planets, such as radius, mass and speed of rotation of the Nanosatellite in its orbital at the same altitude. We have conducted many simulations using the NS2 si...

The aim of this paper is to implement systematic polar coding in 5G while maintaining the low-complexity nature of non-systematic polar coding while guaranteeing the same frame error rate (FER) as non-systematic polar coding. Simulation results, shown in this paper, indicate that the implementation of systematic polar coding in 5G NR (New Radio) will result in significant improvements in bit error rate (BER) performance and low complexity.

This vehicle uses of a lithium-ion battery (bat), a supercapacitor (SC), a photovoltaic (PV) generator and a propulsion system. The proposed management strategy aims to enhance power sharing between multiple sources with different characteristics, and to optimize power trajectory in order to avoid the energy losses in the DC/DC converters. For this sake, the developed strategy is based on five modes switching process. The proposed EMS consists of three hierarchical levels. The high level defines dynamically mode operation according to system situation and management strategy (decision strategy). It employs the state of charge of the battery (SOCbat), the state of charge of SC (SOCsc), the PV power (Ppv) and the load power (Pload) as a four-information sensor to distinguish different modes and determine the mode selected. While the medium level, integrates an algorithm to compute the reference power for the SC and the battery at each instant and according to selected mode. The low level plays an interface between EMS and DC/DC converters. It is composed from the proportional integral (PI) controllers which provide a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to DC/DC converters. It is noteworthy here that the fuzzy logic (FL) technology is used to implement the suggested EMS. The obtained results of various simulations demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed strategy.

With this approach, the position of each particle is updated according to the Smith chart’s impedance and admittance circles to determine the local best particle. The proposed method is applied to three test functions with different behaviors, namely concave, convex, and non-convex, and performance parameters are examined. In light of the obtained results, it has been observed that the proposed strategy offers successful convergence performance for multi-objective optimization applications and meets performance expectations with its obtained well-distributed solution set.

The studied model is based on the control of the two converters grid side converter (GSC) and rotor side converter (RSC), in order to extract the maximum of power and also to keep the direct current (DC) bus voltage constant. The control strategy used here is based on linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) controllers. These are known, in the field of control systems, by their performance and robustness and allow a very good rejection of disturbances which can affect the wind system. In addition, this kind of controllers could help to meet the requirements of robustness against the variations of the parameters of the system and the uncertainties of its mathematical model. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed control, the system was modeled and tested by numerical simulation using MATLAB/Simulink software. The results carried out are discussed and analyzed in terms of references tracking, robustness and disturbance rejection. The results obtained have shown shown that the proposed control is promising and useful.

However, these operations can be complicated especially when, the polar code length, N becomes great. This paper proposes a new low-complexity procedure for polar codes construction over binary erasure and additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels. Using the proposed algorithm, the code construction complexity is reduced from O(Nlog N) to O(N), where N=2 n (n≥1). The proposed approach involves storing the classification of channels by reliabilities in a vector of length L, and then deriving the classification of M channels for every M where M<=L. The proposed method is consistent with Bhattacharya parameter based Construction and Density Evolution with Gaussian Approximation (DEGA) based construction. In this paper, the Successive Cancellation Decoding algorithm (SCDA) is used. Thanks to its low complexity and its high error-correction capability.

The latter being essential in various fields, it can bring improvements in the care of patients and in the quality of health services. However, the use of information and communication technologies on the quality of health services was exclusive in developed countries. It is with this in mind that we have focused our study on the proposal of architecture to make hospital intelligent based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Blockchain. To do this, we used three databases namely Scopus, Web of Science and PubMed. First, we collected references to open-source Hospital Information Systems (OS HIS) and we were able to extract thirteen popular projects of which seven are active and 6 are not. Then, we continued our study with the seven active projects. Second, we collected references to IoT architectures for healthcare and after extensive reading we opted for a three-layer architecture (perception layer, network layer and application layer). Third, we collected references to lightweight blockchains and after in-depth reading of the documents found, we selected the Hyperledger foundation which was created to ensure the promotion of blockchain through an open-source ecosystem. As a result, we were able to come up with a three-layer architecture which is on the concepts of IoT and Blockchain. The proposed work is promising and can be used as a reference for the deployment of a hospital information system in an environment with limited resources.
