This research conducted on 438 academics working in two public universities in Turkey has the relational model. The model created for research purposes was tested with SPSS Process macro software. As a result of the research, significant negative relations were found between work-family conflict and work engagement. Again, As a result of the hierarchical regression analysis, it was observed that self-consciousness does plays a moderating role in the effect of work-family conflict on the job attachment and vigor, sub-dimension of vigor and dedicatin. Accordingly, individuals with high self-consciousness feel less of the negative effects of work-family conflict than individuals with low self-consciousness.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Machiavellian personality traits on workp... more The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Machiavellian personality traits on workplace disparity. It is believed that personality traits, which are known to have great influence and power on the quality and quality of the service in the banking sector, where labor is of great importance, have an impact on non-kindness at work. In this research, data collected from private and public bank employees operating in Kayseri and Eskişehir city centers were used. As a result of the research, a positive relationship was found between perception of Machiavelism and workplace disobedience. Among the sub-dimensions of the Machiavellian personality, there is a positive relationship between moral deprivation, desire for control and status, and workplace disobedience, while no relation is found between mistrust of others and workplace disobedience. According to the results of multiple regression analysis performed by the stepwise selection method, a significant and negative effect of the desire for control-status was found, while the distrust of others from the sub-dimensions of distrust has a significant and negative effect on the workplace disobedience. On the other hand, it has been determined that moral deprivation, which is one of the sub-dimensions of Machiavelism, does not have any effect on workplace courtesy.

Kayseri ve Eskisehir il merkezinde faaliyet gosteren banka calisanlari uzerine gerceklestirilen bu arastirmada bagimli ve bagimsiz degiskenler ile duzenleyici degiskenin birbiri ile iliskileri, ortaya konulan arastirma modeli ile incelenmistir. Arastirma sonucunda calisanlarin destekleyici ve ilimli orgut iklimi algilari ile is yeri nezaketsizligi ve makyavelizm arasinda negatif yonlu anlamli iliski tespit edilmistir. Yapilan hiyerarsik regresyon analizi sonucunda ise calisanlarin destekleyici ve ilimli orgut iklimi algilari ile is yeri nezaketsizligi arasindaki iliskide makyavelist kisilik ozelliklerinin duzenleyici bir role sahip oldugu gorulmustur. Buna gore dusuk makyavelist kisilik ozelligine sahip calisanlar icin destekleyici ve ilimli orgut iklimi algisi yukseldikce is yeri nezaketsizligi azalirken; yuksek makyavelist kisilik ozelligine sahip calisanlar icin destekleyici ve ilimli orgut iklimi algisi artikca is yeri nezaketsizligide artmaktadir. Bu anlamda orgut icinde yaratilacak destekleyici ve ilimli orgut iklimi her zaman yikici tutum ve davranislar butunu olan is yeri nezaketsizligini onlemeye yardimci olmamaktadir.
