Objective: to identify the user's of a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS) on the repercussions o... more Objective: to identify the user's of a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS) on the repercussions of therapeutics workshop in psychosocial rehabilitation process. Methods: this is a descriptive-exploratory study, from qualitative approach, performed with CAPS’ users in Barbalha city, Ceará, Brazil. Data collection was from April to June 2007, through interview using a semi-structured guide. Analysis was done transcription, reading and thematic categorization of the subjects' according to Bardin. This study was approved by the Ethics and Research of the Faculty of Medicine of Juazeiro do Norte (11/07). Results: in the speeches’ analysis, three categories were verified: a) sensations concerning the participation in therapeutics workshop; b) type of activities developed in the workshops; and c) relations between user, professionals and service.
