Digging dirt to symbolize the start of construction for the Tots Play Area which is the first phase of a new Children's Exploration Station along the Rock River Recreation Path. Thank you Kiwanis Club of Rockford for your generous donation! Community Build Day is May 13th at 8 am. All our welcome to help make this happen for area kids.

The Village offers plenty of hands-on learning experiences that specifically incorporate history, science, math, reading, and much more! While at Lockwood Park, students will also have a one-hour tour of the facility, which includes time to visit the animals at the Children’s Farm.
