Barbara & Carolina - sisters on Instagram: "Fall Hydrangea Wreath!!! One of my favorite Fall traditions!!!

Take advantage of your Hydrangea shrub and make a hydrangea wreath. It’s an easy DIY project and beautiful fall decor. All you need are dried Hydrangea blooms and a grapevine wreath. You can wait to cut the limelights when the blooms have dried on the plant (early fall), after they turn pink, and let them dry for two weeks. I do this every year, and it lasts the entire season!

Paula Federico | Boutique Flower Farm in Ohio on Instagram: "I came across this hydrangeas wreath and thought it was easy enough to recreate, I didn't even save the video. This is what I learned after a few failed attempts to attach the hydrangeas: ☝️You cannot just slide the stem into the straw base, it will break. Make a hole first. ✌️Working with fresh cut hydrangeas at the right stage is easier than using already dried flowers. The flowers and stems are less brittle and not as breakable. ✌️☝️ Don't take the plastic wrap off the straw base like I did, it is too messy and it will keep losing pieces of straw forever. When I couldn't insert the dried stems without breaking them I tried using a glue gun. It did not work well either. Then I switched to fresh flowers, made the hole fi Straw Flower Wreath, Hydrangea Wreath, Plastic Wrap, Fresh Cut, Flower Farm, Glue Gun, I Did It, Flower Wreath, Diy Wreath
