Cubism

It is a style and movement in art, especially painting, in which perspective with a single viewpoint was abandoned and use was made of simple geometric shapes, interlocking planes, and, later, collage. Picasso used basic lines and shapes to paint an abstract portrait.

PICASSO/Bather wringing her hair (1952). likely that Picasso was influenced by Titian's 'Venus'- However, Picasso's bather is much more dynamic in the way she wrings her hair. She also has pubic hair, which most western artists, including Titian, tended to play down or omit completely.
