The Secret Room is a single-player short PSX horror game. This First-person game takes place in at first glance, an ordinary house, but who knows what secrets does it keep.
Story
A couple goes missing in a small town in the USA. The investigation has been ongoing for more than 2 years, but no evidence has been found.
The suspect in the murder is their son. He lives in his parents' house and does not even think that the police want to search his house. He begins to see ghosts, blood on the floor. All this leads him to a sad ending.
This is the first game we've ever published, although it may not be perfect, we hope you will find it enjoyable. If you would like to support our growth as developers, your donation would be greatly appreciated!

Interesting game, I wish I had infinitely spawning pizza for dinner every day. qq Text and VHS film section had a lot of promise, and some of the transitions are quite impactful. I wish for a little more from a game with this kind of concept, especially regarding initial build up before anything particularly spooky/jumpscary happens to establish a connection and feeling of pressure. THAT SAID I loved the to do list, hahahhahaa. Game's first in this comp if you wanna check my reaction and thoughts while playing. <3
very fun game, with a dooming twist, I think I saw it coming, still love the theme/visuals and the short story.
i rearranged some stuff to help sell the grief the character goes through and i wanted to change the ending since it felt a bit like a jail free card from the situaiton. I think it'd be more interesting or compelling if it was to have an open ending so your imagination could theorieze what heppens next. Overall, the game was alright and i liked the concept it had:

Not a bad game overall. I wish we could see the MC go a bit more insane. But overall, a decent game.
