In the second part of this essay, I will argue that Karakasidou resisted to methodological nationalism quite consistently. I will use specific passages from the book in order to prove that, according to me, Karakasidou tried very hard not to succumb to methodological nationalism. However, I will also point to some paragraphs which one could use to claim that the author sometimes touches the border of methodological nationalism. By the end of the essay, I hope to have shown that Karakasidou is one of the few scholars who conducted research about a sensitive part of the history of her native country without succumbing to methodological nationalism in a consistent or obvious way.
