Menurut ini, jelaslah bahwa penulisan yang benar adalah Kota Palangka Raya, Wikipedia Indonesia sudah tepat menuliskannya, dan pengguna yang mengetikkan http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kota_Palangkaraya akan diarahkan ke alamat semestinya secara automatik. Reindra (bicara) 05:46, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Ini menyangkut aspek legal-formal. Contoh lain adalah Kabupaten Mamberamo Raya, Kabupaten Murung Raya, Kabupaten Nagan Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Menanggapi sedikit, dari Permendagri no.153 tahun 2017, justru menggunakan nama Palangkaraya, bukan Palangka Raya. Saya kurang tahu aspek legal-formal yang dimaksud mas @Reindra:. --Yosef Agus Haryanto 26 Februari 2019 06.21 (UTC)

Di situs resmi pemko-nya, memakai nama Palangka Raya. Situs Kemendagri tidak boleh 100% dipercaya dan diikuti karena saya menemukan lebih sering ketidaksesuaian nama di lapangan dengan yang ada di data. Ezagren ^{(메시지를 보내)} 26 Februari 2019 09.56 (UTC)

Selama para anggota dewan yth sekarang ini hanya memikirkan kenyamanan hidup diri dan kelompoknya dan tidak memikirkan kehidupan bangsa sebagai negarawan, maka pemindahan Ibukota NKRI ke Palngkaraya hanyalah isapan jempol politik saja. Masyarakat Palangkaraya perlu berhati-hati banyak spekulan menawarkan jasa memediasikan Palangkaraya jadi Ibukota Negara. Masyarakat Palangkaraya perlu menggali potensi ekonominya sendiri. Ikan bakar khas Palangkaraya bisa dijual mendunia....

Ekonomi Kota Palangka Raya

Situs Kota Palangka Raya tidak menampilkan ekonomi perkotaan padahal pertumbuhan kota sangat didukung oleh pertumbuhan ekonominya. Potensi wisata budaya dan hasil ikan tawar menarik untuk ditampilkan daripada pertambangan (kota tambang cepat mati !!)
