Mix 1 part ACV with 2-3 parts warm water, and soak feet in it for 10-15 minutes a few times per week to get rid of foot odor and to help exfoliate rough feet (thanks to malic acid in ACV). This hack can also help get rid of foot fungus & toenail fungus. 2. Wash your feet with PanOxyl 10% cleanser. PanOxyl cleanser is not just for your face. It is antibacterial and can help get rid of odor causing bacteria on the feet. Just lather feet in the shower for a few minutes and then rinse off. 3. Apply glycolic acid on your soles a few times per week. What can’t glycolic acid do? It is not only a great exfoliant, but it also lowers skin pH so it can help reduce foot odor AND soften calluses. 4. Use antiperspirant spray on your feet at night. Antiperspirant sprays may work better than sticks to help reduce sweat, which in turn helps reduce odor (odor is caused by bacteria breaking down sweat, so no sweat means no smell). Antiperspirant sprays can be used on feet, hands or almost anywhere on the body where you get sweaty and often work better when applied at night when sweat glands are less active. 5. Urea 40% is the GOAT for crusty, rough heels. It is a keratolytic and humectant so it can melt away cracked, callused heels. Apply it to damp heels and follow with Vaseline for baby soft feet. Urea may also have antimicrobial properties so it could help reduce foot odor too. Don’t use all of these at once - pick one or two that work for you! #stinkyfeet #hygienetips #callus #toenailfungus | Dr. Neera

Plantar Fasciitis
👉Plantar fasciitis or plantar heel pain is a disorder of the plantar fascia, which is the connective tissue that supports the arch of the foot. It results in pain in the heel and bottom of the foot that is usually most severe with the first steps of the day or following a period of rest. 👉Research shows that both strengthening and stretching exercise programs, including stretching the Achilles tendon, can significantly reduce pain and improve walking in people with plantar fasciitis. https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&as_ylo=2023&q=plantar+fasciitis+physiotherapy&oq=plantar+fasciitis#d=gs_qabs&t=1720771263964&u=%23p%3D4ehy884dzZEJ

By using fascial counterstrain techniques we can help unwind tension from these fascial spirals. 🌱 This gentle therapy targets restrictions in the fascia, releasing tension throughout the body. Perfect for relieving pain, improving mobility, and restoring balance. Apple cider vinegar soaks can help get rid of stinky feet, toenail fungus, athlete’s foot and callused heels as ACV is a natural source of both acetic acid and malic acid. To make these soaks, mix 1 part ACV with 4 parts warm water and soak feet in it for 15 minutes a day, 2-3 times a week. This can be done with white distilled vinegar, too. 2. Urea is the GOAT for dry, cracked or rough heels because it’s a keratolytic and humectant. Apply 20-40% urea to cleansed feet, layer with Vaseline, then apply a clean pair of socks and leave on for 1 hour or overnight for baby smooth feet. 3. Vicks vapor rub was shown in a study to get rid of toenail fungus. Because toenails take a year to grow out, this should be applied daily for a whole year for benefits. This is much more accessible and affordable than some prescription treatments. 4. Duct tape has been recommended by dermatologists for years as a treatment for warts at home with or without other treatments, like salicylic acid. Cover the wart for 4 days, then take off duct tape to let skin breathe overnight, then re-apply for another 4 days. Repeat for 2 months. 5. Benzoyl peroxide washes like PanOxyl are the best for stinky feet (or armpits) because they get rid of odor causing bacteria. Lather for 2-3 minutes in the shower, rinse off, and after a few weeks your feet will be stank free. 6. Antiperspirant sprays work best when applied at night when sweat glands are least active and when applied to completely dry skin. You can spray these on your feet at night to get rid of sweaty feet. #personalhygiene #feetcare #footcare #footcaretips #stinkyfeet | Dr. Neera | Sabrina Carpenter · Espresso
