Did you know a tight or undertrained chest can create back pain when the back is overused and stretched. Over time this pulls the shoulders forward and contributes to poor posture - and the cycle of pain continues with under used, over used, and poor posture😳 So the chest matters too! Not everyone can do a push-up with good form! If you’re recently postpartum or have Diastasis Recti it can make it more complicated due to a weaker core, but it doesn’t mean skip chest! In my Make Fit Simple app I weave in all muscle groups every week and have full plans with no pushups, but still very challenging workouts to meet everyone’s needs. So keeping the chest stretched and strong can actually help
