Hats can be traced back as early back as the primitive man. Of coarse back then they were worn for protection against the elements. In Egyptian, Roman and Greek times they were worn to show rank. It wasn't until the 14th or 15th century that they were worn to be fashionable. There are so many types of hats, they come in all shapes and colors and materials.
