The famous surname was told by the poet Vehbi and depicted by the muralist Levni, is registered in the Topkapı Palace Museum with the Treasury inventory number 3593. When the two examples are examined, the place of the woman, whose presence was not encountered at a circumcision wedding attended by people from all walks of life, draws our attention. At an important festival where every element of the society was there, the woman who was “assumed to exist” was actually not “there” at all. And we will discuss the alienation of the woman, whose existence is considered imaginary in her absence, both to herself and to the society, together with the female image at the intersection of the visible and invisible, in a hermeneutic style.
