The article represents the research result on simulating mathematic calculation of electricity pr... more The article represents the research result on simulating mathematic calculation of electricity price at buses without distributed generation (DG) and with DG. The article aims at comparing the impact of DG on the electricity price at buses. The simulation results showed that when DG is integrated into the distribution network, the price signals are more efficient and the power losses reduce in the network. Electricity price in a competitive electricity market depends not only on locals but also time; and it can regulate the load and adjust the behavior of the market participants in order to ensure system security. The simulation results help the owner of DG sources have further information to successfully give out market bidding strategy.

Connection of wind turbine generators to the distribution network increases power sources and therefore increases reliability of distribution network. Assessment of reliability of distribution network connected to wind turbine generators based on two state model yields big errors due to dependence of wind source capacity on wind speed which is a variable value. For more accurate assessment results, the article proposes to utilize multi-stage model of wind source reliability and switch section partitioning based on reliability on distribution network.

At present, it is very common to find renewable energy resources, especially wind power, connecte... more At present, it is very common to find renewable energy resources, especially wind power, connected to distribution systems. The impact of this wind power on voltage distribution levels has been addressed in the literature. The majority of this works deals with the determination of the maximum active and reactive power that is possible to be connected on a system load bus, until the voltage at that bus reaches the voltage collapse point. It is done by the traditional methods of PV curves reported in many references. Theoretical expression of maximum power limited by voltage stability transfer through a grid is formulated using an exact representation of distribution line with ABCD parameters. The expression is used to plot PV curves at various power factors of a radial system. Limited values of reactive power can be obtained. This paper presents a method to study the relationship between the active power and voltage (PV) at the load bus to identify the voltage stability limit. It is a foundation to build a permitted working operation region in complying with the voltage stability limit at the point of common coupling (PCC) connected wind farm.

This paper presents the results of research on the application of inverter in the grid connected ... more This paper presents the results of research on the application of inverter in the grid connected solar photovoltaics (PV) system. The main content of the article is to control the three-phase grid connected inverter to meet the requirement of controlling the reactive power to zero at a node of the distribution network while maximizing the active power transmitted to the grid. The control circuits are synthesized on the dq coordinate system and verified on the simulation model by Matlab/Simulink. Both simulation and experimental prototype on 5 kW inverter, being connected to low voltage grid, have been built to show the good results and the practical readiness for implementation.

The previous research results showed that; with conventional types of coupling such as series (SC), parallel (PC), or series-parallel (SPC) when operating under uniform conditions, the characteristics curves do not change in shape. But when the working environment is heterogeneous due to partial shading conditions (PSC) the global maximum power point tracking (GMPPT) meet more difficulties due to having multiple extremes and easy to be trapped in local extremes (LMPP). To effectively solve this problem, the optimal algorithms for MPPT have strongly developed in recent years. This article introduces a Micro DC-DC converter incorporating an innovative MPPT solution for PV systems under PSC. The research results in the article have shown that: the proposed solution not only has a simple configuration, compact structure but also has high convergence speed and outstanding performance.

This article presents the research results of the application of power electronic converter in grid-connected solar power system. In particular, we focus on building an algorithm to control and simulate the grid-connected solar power system at the DC-BUS stage by setting an optimal set of SVPWM (Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation) modulation frequencies when the pulse width values are different. The simulation results on Matlab/Simulink show that the system op-erates stably, ensures the requirements of DC-BUS grid integration. The set-up system operates safely, has a simple control structure and algorithm, is easy to calibrate and makes it ready for practical applications.

In this research, the application of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) technique for inverter is explored. With the use of SVPWM inverter, synchronization between the inverter and electrical grid follows the Phaselocked Loop (PLL) algorithm. The proposed design is simulated and validated by experimental results.

The size of wind turbines and wind power plants are increasing quickly; a large amount of wind power is integrated into the power system. As the wind power penetration into the grid increases quickly, the influence of wind turbines on the dynamic stability is becoming more and more important. This paper studies the effect of wind power plants with double fed induction generator (DFIG) on the electric power system operation. The important characteristics such as: Voltage quality, grid voltage stability, active and reactive loss of a DFIG at different fault conditions studied. The simulation results cleary show the effect of wind power plants on the grid voltage stability and power quality of electric power system.

These usually don't consider reactive power (even reactive power consumption), so they generally affect the entire network voltage stability and can cause instability in themselves and become no longer balanced by the torque. Hiện nay trên thế giới đã có nhiều công trình nghiên cứu thành công việc tổng hợp Zeolit từ nhiều... more Hiện nay trên thế giới đã có nhiều công trình nghiên cứu thành công việc tổng hợp Zeolit từ nhiều nguồn nguyên liệu khác nhau, trong đó tổng hợp Zeolit từ tro bay của các nhà máy nhiệt điện có giá thành thấp hơn rất nhiều so với quá trình tổng hợp từ hóa chất tinh khiết. ở nước ta, các nhà máy nhiệt điện như Phả Lại 1, Phả Lại 2, Ninh Bình, ...hàng năm đã thải ra hàng triệu tấn tro bay. Lượng tro bay này mới được tái sử dụng rất ít, lượng còn lại tương đối lớn, gây ô nhiễm môi trường và cản trở sản xuất. Chính vì vậy, việc chuyển hóa tro bay ở Việt Nam sang dạng Zeolit có ý nghĩa đặc biệt cả về mặt kinh tế lẫn khoa học, do vừa xử lý được lượng chất thải gây ô nhiễm, vừa tạo ra được vật liệu có nhiều ứng dụng trong công nghiệp. Trong công trình trước [1], chúng tôi đã công bố kết quả về nghiên cứu chuyển hóa tro bay Ninh Bình, công trình này công bố một số kết quả nghiên cưú chuyển hóa tro bay của nhà máy nhiệt điện Phả Lại và một số tính chất đặc trưng của chúng.
