Changes take place in tourist behaviour as well, and the responsible tourist behaviour becomes more widespread, which, in turn, creates a need for more research in the area of responsible tourist behaviour. Thus, in an attempt to contribute to the related literature, the purpose of this study is to assess the effects of, on one hand the ethical beliefs of consumers on responsible tourist behaviour, and on the other, effects of responsible tourist behaviour on service purchase intentions regarding eco-hotels. The research query and hypothesis of the study have been designed within the framework of these objectives and the related model has been developed. The study aims to examine the generation differentiations concerning service purchase intentions ... more The study aims to examine the generation differentiations concerning service purchase intentions for eco-hotels. The hypotheses of the study have been designed within the framework of this objective. In order to test the hypotheses and the query questions the questionnaire method was used as the main data collection technique. The sample group of the study consists of 427 people covering 219 X generation participants and 208 Y generation participants. Variance analysis (ANOVA) has been used in order to identify the relationship between the variables of the model. The conclusions reflect that X generation's eco-hotel service purchase intentions are higher than that of Y generation's.
