I tried a few brands before finding one that works. Comment ‘SUPPLIES’ below and I’ll send you my Favourite Learning Supplies and Products List with links to these markers.  👉🏻 I find that a porcelain soup spoon works the best. But any non-porous surface like a metal spoon will work too.  👉🏻 Make sure your spoon is completely dry before you write on it again. This simple science experiment is so amazingly cool! 😎 

I love that you only need a few things to do it too. But it can be a little tricky to get the letters into the water without breaking. You may need to try a few times. You can also draw anything as this technique works for all drawings! 

Here’s what you need:

 - Dry Erase Marker - we tested the Ikea brand and the EXPO brand. Your dry erase marker must NOT be washable or it won’t work 

- A metal spoon 🥄 

- A bowl with water 💦 

How to do it:

- Draw the letter on the spoon. Make sure all of the letter elements are touching so it stays together. Press a bit harder to transfer lots of ink.
