Logically, in the 100ms on the ground, the ankle presents itself in the strongest position for horizontal speed. Ankle in 10 deg plantarflexion. 🔥 Acceleration is done with a low center of mass. Longer ground contact times (250ms) and the ankle again being a strong anchor point for the body to move over.
