Golden Sun Universe is an online open-content collaborative encyclopedia, that is, a voluntary association of individuals and groups working to develop a common resource of human knowledge about Golden Sun. We have no official association with Nintendo or Camelot Software Planning in any way.

As of November 1st, 2024, the content of GSU is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). User contributions made prior to this date were subject to previous version of the same license, Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 (Unported) (CC BY-SA 3.0).

The structure of the project allows anyone with an Internet connection to alter its content.
