Apart from urban areas, the governance of infrastructure and services in rural areas plays an important role in holistic approach towards sustainable habitat. Rural infrastructure and livelihood can be developed as components of Watershed Development Projects. Watershed development is a systematic approach to improve the ecology of watershed so that it becomes more productive for livelihood. The integrated development of such watershed areas through soil and water conservation, ground water recharge, arresting runoff, improvement in livelihood options and other natural resource management activities can be ensured through Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojna 2.0 (WDC-PMKSY 2.0.) Watershed Development Programme in India is dependent on well laid out existing frameworks for its planning and implementation. These frameworks cover the use of many types of systems, tools and processes which are designed to enable the implementation of WDC-PMKSY 2.0 Projects on ground. This includes process like identifying project area, beneficiaries, types of treatment, resource management, structural intervention, water governance, survey and other parts of the Programme. Despite the presence of such comprehensive, well laid out frameworks, the implementation of the WDC-PMKSY 2.0 programme in Goa has been observed to be extremely slower than expected. This study identifies and analyses the most used platform for implementation of WDC-PMKSY 2.0, by both experts and users using methods of primary field survey, interviews and user review to evaluate their problem areas hindering it's fast and effective implementation.

Various studies have also shown that green wall is an effective solution to improve indoor and outdoor urban environment. But, for it's effective adoption as a building design paradigm, it is important to select the ideal plant species that will not just survive in the given conditions but which are also cost effective in terms of it's maintenance. The study aims to formulate the parameters of the ideal species of plants for green wall in Goa, by comparing the prevalent species of plants used for green wall system in the region to help in their selection, in order to expand the adoption of green wall as a practical and aesthetically pleasing option for enhancing urban environment. The methods focus on employing a comparative analysis of plant material species and it's growth, irrigation needs, structural needs & investment returns which contributes to the creation of an innovative green wall solution that enhances indoor and outdoor spaces.

It is inuenced by a number of factors including air temperature, humidity, air movement, and radiant temperature. Achieving thermal comfort is crucial for occupants' health, productivity, and overall well-being. Envelope of any buildings plays the most crucial role in determining the level of thermal comfort of buildings and greenwalls have become one of the most desirable form of envelope in the age of nullifying carbon emissions. The study aims to understand the benets of using greenwall envelope in achieving thermal comfort as replacement to forced HVAC systems, thus reducing overall energy consumption and promote it as a paradign in contemporary sustainable architectural practices.
