I've never used quarto so I'm honestly not sure, but from my understanding it should be 100% backwards compatible with rmd. If that's true, then it should work. It sounds like probably a bug in quarto, or maybe it's this rstudio/rmarkdown#2475 |

FYI the only difference between specifying That's the only difference. The file extension doesn't matter. |

Hi,
I already created an issue on this at the Quarto repository (https://github.com/quarto-dev/quarto-cli/issues/5984) but I wanted to implement some shinyjs functionality in a shiny doc created with Quarto and it doesn't appear to be working. I know from the documentation that shinyjs is compatible with interactive markdown docs but does this extend to Quarto?
