However, it causes severe environmental pollution due to the generated waste materials. Copper ore tailings, is a waste material obtained in the copper mines, after the extraction of copper concentrate from the ore. Some trace percentage of copper will be left in the ore after the extraction process is completed. This copper ore tailing is produced in large quantity in the copper mines. Disposing of this copper ore tailing from the mines premises is a big head ache for the concerned authorities. In this experimental work an attempt has been made to study the suitability of copper ore tailings as an admixture in the preparation of concrete by replacing the cement in different percentages viz., 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%.

Wire EDM machines are used to cut all conductive material of any hardness or toughness or that are difficult or impossible to cut with conventional methods. The machines also specialize in cutting complex contours or fragile geometries that would be difficult to be produced using conventional machining parameters. Wire electrical discharge machining process is a highly complex, time varying & stochastic process. The process output is affected by large number of input variables. Therefore a suitable selection of input variables for the wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) process relies heavily on the operators technology & experience because of their numerous & diverse range. The problem of arriving at the optimum levels of the operating parameters has attracted the attention of the researchers and practicing engineers for a very long time. WEDM is extensively used in machining of conductive materials when precision is of prime importance. Rough cutting operation in wire EDM is treated as challenging one because improvement of more than one performance measures viz. Metal removal rate (MRR), surface finish & cutting rate are sought to obtain precision work. This paper reviews the effects of various input parameters on the performance parameters i.e. material removal rate, surface finish etc.

Therefore, true and early diagnosis of breast cancer is an important problem. The Lagrange interpolation was used in this study for the diagnosis of breast cancer. The Wisconsin Breast Cancer dataset (WBCD), derived from the University of California Irvine machine learning database, was used for the purpose of testing the proposed method was determined as 98%. In this method, we are looking for two equations by Lagrange interpolation because of two classes that are exist in breast cancer data set. We receive each sample and it will define rate of vicinity it's to each class (malignant or benign). So, the class of mentioned sample will be recognized. Moreover, the most appropriate attributes for the diagnosis of breast cancer were determined from the WBCD in this study. It is considered that the proposed method will be useful in similar medical practices.

Its direct impact is on the climate and consequently on the environment, human life and socioeconomic activities. Many countries of the world are experiencing extreme weather conditions and climate change natural disasters which scientists have concluded are being induced by climate change. Scientists and major research centers in industrialized countries have concluded that human activities, through the emission of C02 into the atmosphere is the single major cause of climate change and the unpredictable weather conditions the world over. While the industrialized countries of the world, the major contributor to climate change have the capacity to respond to the impact of climate change, most developing countries do not have adaptive capacity to global warming. They therefore need help from developed countries to fight the effects of climate change on their environments and economic security.

Modern educators insist that education should be relevant to our age, and they look for innovations to chart new ways out of the present dilemmas. The most elementary kind of thinking about education involves some understanding of aims and purposes. In one sense, it could be said that philosophizing about education began when man first became conscious about education as a distinct human activity. Education was primarily meant for survival. Children were taught the necessary skills for living. Gradually, however, man began to use education for a variety of purposes. Today, we realize that education may be used not only for purposes of survival, but for a more enriched life, better use of Leisure time, and improvements in social and cultural life. This research paper shows the attitude of Sr. Sec students of Ambala towards teachings of Shri Mad Bhagwad Gita in the context of value education.

Its contribution to the Indian economy is particularly significant, with regard to employment potential and impact on national income. This sector covers a wide range of activities, such as transportation, communication, tourism, trading, finances, real estate and health, among others. India's service sector contributes to about 60 per cent of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), 35 per cent of employment, a quarter of the total trade, and over half of the foreign investment inflows. The service industry provides massive business prospects to investors. Without the sector's capacity to generate revenue, it would be difficult for the Indian economy to acquire the healthy place it currently enjoys on the global platform. The Indian tourism and hospitality industry has emerged as one of the key industries driving growth of the service sector in India. Tourism in India has registered significant growth in the recent years and the country has tremendous potential to become a major global tourist destination. Tourism in India is the largest service industry, with a contribution of 6.23% to the national GDP and 8.78% of the total employment in India. In 2010, total Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTA) in India were 5.78 million and India generated about 200 billion US dollars in 2008 and that is expected to increase to US$375.5 billion by 2018 at a 9.4% annual growth rate. Indian tourism industry is thriving due to an increase in foreign tourist arrivals and greater number of Indians travelling to domestic destinations than before. In the past few years the real growth has come from within the domestic sector as around 30 million Indians travel within the country in a year. Strong growth in per capita income, rising young population coupled with changing lifestyles are leading to greater expenditure on leisure service. It is the largest service industry globally in terms of gross revenue as well as foreign exchange earnings. Tourism can play an important and effective role in achieving the growth with equity objectives which we have set for ourselves. The present paper analyses the trends in development of service sector and contribution of tourism in the context in India context. By analyzing the trends, the study looks into the future prospects for service sector with a focus on tourism industry.

It is the cheapest source of protein and is the inseparable part of the daily diets of every Indians. It is also play an important role in sustainable agriculture enriching the soil through biological nitrogen fixation (BNF). Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh occupies 37800 hectares of land and 16200 tons production with average productivity of 431 kg/ha of chick pea. Looking of fact its productivity is far below the potential yield. Therefore, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sidhi conducted the on farm testing (OFTs) and front line demonstration (FLDs) as technological interventions on improved package of practices of chick pea during villages of Sidhi district. The highest grain yield (15.32 q/ha) was recorded in variety JG-226 during the year 2008-2009. In front line demonstration, it was 92.7 per cent higher yield over the farmers practice (7.95 q/ha), however the lowest yield (10.20 q/ha) was recorded in FLD and 6.8 q/ha in farmers practice during the year 2007-2008. The on farm testing and front line demonstration on chick pea an average yield of 13.11 q/ha was recorded and in farmers practice 8.05 q/ha. Thus, the average technology gap, extension gap and technology index of 16.89 q/ha, 5.05 q/ha and 56.30 per cent respectively were obtained between demonstrated and farmers practice during 2007-2008 to 2009-10. The average yield of chick pea increased 62.42 per cent over farmers practice, while the year wise variation in yield increase was 49.8 to 92.7 per cent. The variation in per cent increase in the yield was found due to the lack of knowledge, and poor socio economic condition. Under sustainable agricultural practices, with this study it is concluded that the OFTs and FLDs programmes were effective in changing attitude, skill and knowledge of improved package and practices of HYV of chick pea adoption.

In spite of such glorious history, there were number of evil systems spreading the firmament of this sacrosanct land. These were illiteracy, idolatry, superstition, self -immolation under the chariot of Lord Jagannath in Puri, rigid caste system, untouchability, sati system, meriah sacrifice and infanticide etc. However with the advent of the missionaries in this land, there was a tremendous transformation in the social sphere particularly in the tribal society of Orissa. They constantly persuaded and pressurized the Government to abolish such evil systems from the society and later on it was legalized. The missionaries were also the pioneer of female education and the first people to come in close contact with the tribal communities who were isolated from the mainstream since time immemorial. As a result of this social mobilization took place and a favourable ambience was created. It helped in the regeneration and renovation of traditional society into a pragmatic one.
