Préface
Les descriptions et procédures d'entretien contenues dans ce manuel sont basées sur des études de conception et de méthodes
réalisées jusqu'en octobre 2009.

Les produits sont en développement continu. Les véhicules et composants produits après la date ci-dessus peuvent donc avoir des
spécifications et des méthodes de réparation différentes. Lorsqu'on pense que cela a une incidence significative sur ce manuel, des bulletins
de service supplémentaires seront publiés pour couvrir les changements.

La nouvelle édition de ce manuel mettra à jour les modifications.

Identification de la transmission

Chaque transmission a deux étiquettes d'identification. L'un se trouve sur le dessus du boîtier de la cuisinière. La version de transmission peut être facilement identifiée par
du carter d'embrayage et l'autre se trouve à l'arrière le tableau de nomenclature suivant.

Capteurs

Capteur de position d'embrayage

Le capteur de position d'embrayage est situé sur le côté du cylindre d'embrayage (à


l'intérieur du carter de cloche).

Capteur (s) de vitesse d'arbre principal

Les capteurs de vitesse sont situés sur le boîtier de commande et mesurent la


vitesse de l'arbre principal et la vitesse de l'arbre intermédiaire.

Le capteur de vitesse de l'arbre principal est un capteur électronique avec un élément


Hall. L'utilisation d'un élément de hall permet de mesurer la vitesse de rotation et le
sens de rotation de l'arbre.

Le capteur de vitesse d'arbre intermédiaire est un capteur inductif. Connaître la


vitesse de l'arbre intermédiaire permet de calculer la vitesse précise de chaque
engrenage de la transmission.

Le ou les capteurs de vitesse sont situés dans la transmission sur la partie inférieure
du boîtier de commande.

Capteur de vitesse d'arbre de sortie

Le capteur de vitesse d'arbre de sortie est situé sur le côté du carter de


transmission arrière.

Capteur de position du vérin de gamme

Il y a quatre capteurs de position dans le boîtier de commande de la transmission. Ces


capteurs mesurent la position du vérin pneumatique spécifique dans le boîtier de
commande. Les capteurs sont inductifs et les caractéristiques inductives changent en
fonction de la position de la broche métallique qui suit les mouvements des cylindres
pneumatiques.

Le capteur de position du cylindre de gamme est situé dans la transmission sur


la partie inférieure du boîtier de commande.

Capteur de position de cylindre fendu

Le capteur de position du cylindre divisé est situé dans la transmission sur la


partie inférieure du boîtier de commande.

Capteur de position du 1er cylindre / inverseur

Le capteur de position du 1er cylindre / inverseur est situé dans la transmission


sur la partie inférieure du boîtier de commande.

Capteur de position de cylindre de 2e / 3e vitesse

Le capteur de position du cylindre de 2e / 3e vitesse est situé dans la transmission


sur la partie inférieure du boîtier de commande.

Module de commande de transmission (TCM)

Le TCM communique avec le module de commande du sélecteur de vitesse


(GSCM) et d'autres ECM du véhicule via les liaisons de données SAE J1939 et
SAE J1587. La fonctionnalité du TCM peut être différente selon le type de
progiciels installés. Le TCM contient les composants suivants:

Système de lubrification

La transmission est lubrifiée par une combinaison de pression d'une pompe à huile et
d'éclaboussures. L'huile est amenée dans l'arbre principal pour lubrifier et refroidir les
engrenages de gamme, l'arbre d'entrée et les roulements d'arbre principal. Le frein d'arbre
intermédiaire et les roulements d'arbre de sortie sont également lubrifiés. Le système de
lubrification possède deux vannes de trop-plein. Une soupape garantit que la transmission est
lubrifiée si le filtre est bloqué tandis que l'autre évite une pression excessive dans le système,
par exemple lors d'un démarrage à froid. Les soupapes sont constituées d'un ressort de
compression et d'une cheville de soupape.

Présentation du système

Le sélecteur de vitesse est fixé au siège du conducteur et peut être rabattu pour faciliter l'entrée la position manuelle est engagée à l'arrêt, le véhicule démarrera en premier et maintiendra
