I couldn't leave Chicago without writing down a comprehensive guide to my favorite coffee shops in town. Cafes are about so much more to me than just the taste of your drink of choice, although that's pretty damn important. They're also about the feeling and experience you have when you're there. So

Next year I want to open a coffee shop. Just a small, cute coffee shop with used books, comfy seats, plants everywhere and positive quotes about life everywhere.. attached to Flourish in the same building that I OWN. I just want a place you can come and get coffee, tea, maybe a vegan baked good or treat and have a talk with an old friend, do a little work on your computer or have a little study group.. Just dreaming out loud....
