Meghan Splawn on Instagram: "Feels like 2016 again, TBH. Here’s how I do it: Put a 9-10 in cast iron skillet in the oven and turn it to 425 F. Combine: 1/2 C milk 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 TBS sugar 1/2 C flour You can whisk these together in a bowl, whip them in a blender, or use a measuring cup and immersion blender. Let the batter rest for at least 20 minutes. Usually takes the oven at least the long to preheat, anyway. Give the batter another beat or blend, then add 2 tbs butter to the hot skillet and pour in the batter. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until puffed and golden. Dutch baby pancakes deflate quickly but they’re great topped with powdered sugar and a squeeze of lemon or cinnamon sugar or drizzled with maple syrup."
