The hemispherical tussocks of Moss Campion often have flowers growing on the south facing "sunny" side. Although when you grow that far north there doesn't seem to be much of a shady side in 24 hour daylight. It was also known as the compass plant.

I love these spray roses, fritilaria, larkspur and lisianthus emerging out of the litle mounds of moss.
