Today, I'm using this twenty-four ounce mason jar and a napkin I got from Walmart. I started by painting the entire outside of the jar with plastic chalk paint by Waverly. Next I'm taking just the ring part of the lid and painting the outside of that with crimson red chalk paint that is also by Waverly. Next I'm mixing that same red color with some water to thin it out. Dipping a toothbrush in it. And then taking a handle to a paintbrush and hitting the back of the toothbrush. Splattering the paint forward onto the jar. And I do this all the way around. Next I'm opening up the napkin and cutting apart one of the sections. And then I remove the second layer of the napkin. I trim away most of the excess part of the napkin and then go around carefully cutting around the image as best I can and then for around the greenery areas where I wasn't able to really cut, I took some water on a paint brush and just kind of outlined where I wanted to remove the pieces and just pulled that away. And then I'm taking dishwasher safe Mod Podge and applying that to one big area of the mason jar. Just for now I will be covering the entire thing later on. But just this section for now. Drying that completely. And then placing the image down on top of where that Mod Podge is dried. I just press it down. It's still a little bit tacky so it sticks a little. I then add some paper on top of that. Use my heating tool to heat that back up. You could use a hair dryer as well that would work just fine. Just need to heat it up to reactivate that Mod Podge and then over the parchment paper, smooth it out with my hands to get it to stick down. And then add Mod Podge to the rest of the jar including over the image. I place the lid on top and then add Mod Podge to that as well. That is it for this project. Thank you so much for watching.
