Then I spend an inordinate amount of time creating the five decorative flower pins to match perfectly... they must match! It's a labor of love, but one I thoroughly enjoy. Each pincushion is unique, as is each set of matching pins. These make a wonderful addition to your sewing room decor

Vintage Salt Cellar Pin Cushion with Beaded Pins

Vintage salt cellar repurposed into a beautiful pincushion with two decorative glass head beaded pins. Pins include glass and plastic beads. Cushion is glued into the salt cellar. Glass condition is excellent without chips. Pincushion measures 2x2x1.25 inches Pins measure 1.9 - 2.3 inches My great-grandma Pearl lined her windowsills with colored glass. This fueled my obsession with vintage glass, expecially colored glass. I am always stopping in at antique stores, yard sales, and estate sales looking for pieces that remind me of her. I am a quilter, I always have scraps of fabric to use up. I was inspired by the amazing Lesley Storts and use her pattern as inspiration for my pincushions.
