According to various studies carried out, the constant growth of technology in all areas of society has
generated positive and negative impacts worldwide, the positive part, we can observe in different
areas such as medicine, astronomy, agriculture , telecommunications, among others, while the
negative can be highlighted in fake news, since the improper use of social networks such as twitter,
facebook, Instagram, youtube, whatsapp, has grown in disproportionate growth, while people they do
not take precaution to use them.
If people do not take due precaution in the use of these networks, as well as of the telephony itself, it
is possible that instead of benefiting, it ends up undermining the social structure further.
On the other hand, regarding the promotion of tourism, in our country through the different
technological means, an important aspect that should be used to promote it, has not been entirely the
most suitable, there has not been the use of a In an invasive way, if it is not applied correctly for other
aspects, tourism in Venezuela has not been the exception.
The use of the internet to stimulate own tourism as well as project it abroad has been very weak,
coupled with this, the new communication technologies, has deviated from this important part, such
as tourism. Hosting services have been in decline, there is no marketing or even digital marketing or
email marketing, tourism companies have almost all disappeared, previously there were around 85
companies, of which only 4 remain nationwide (Datanalisis, Tourism in Venezuela, 2019).
On the other hand, venezuelans, we use computers, telephones, modems, routers, satellite internet
to navigate through the www, however, it has become a superfluous daily where we rely solely on
uploading absurd content to the web, We can see it in a very recent network known as tik tok, also on
youtube, and we create large user rooms through whatsapp, where the promotion of developing
some type of tourism, whether local, regional or national, is almost nil, if not We take action now, we
will never be what we were before: A 100% TOURIST COUNTRY.
