THE MARKET THING: COMMERCIAL EXHIBITION
1. In the learning object, identify the list of material types POP (Point of
Purchase) "point of purchase". Organize them alphabetically and write
their corresponding meaning in Spanish.
 COLLARS NECK: In general, these are placed in bottlenecks and

COLLARES CUELLO: En general, estos se colocan en los cuellos de

botella y se utilizan en bebidas alcohólicas.
 DUMP BIN: It’s display container, like a large box, which contains

CONTENEDOR DE VOLCADO: Es un contenedor de exhibición, como

una caja grande, que contiene un bien para la venta.
 FLOOR GRAPHIC-STICKER: Floor graphics can catch the

attention of potential buyer before a shopping decision is made.
They are made of adhesive material and are usually pasted on
floors, in order to get the attention of people as they walk.
PEGATINA GRÁFICA DE PISO: Estos pueden llamar la atención del

comprador potencial antes de que se tome una decisión de compra. Están
hechos de material adhesivo y generalmente se pegan en los pisos para
llamar la atención de las personas mientras caminan.
 GONDOLA END: It promotes your special offers and shows your

products through better visibility.
FIN DE GÓNDOLA: promueve sus ofertas especiales y muestra sus

productos a través de una mejor visibilidad.
 IMPULSE STRIP: It is positioned in product families; it works by

associating display products. Each strip displays eight products at
the same time, hooked to pin.
TIRA DE IMPULSO: Se posiciona en familias de productos; funciona

asociando productos de visualización. Cada tira muestra ocho productos
al mismo tiempo, enganchados al pin.
 MOBILE HANGER: It is a piece of hanging cardboard, when it

moves, it attracts consumers.
SUSPENSIÓN MÓVIL: Este es un pedazo de cartón que cuelga, cuando
se mueve, atrae a los consumidores.
 POSTERS: It is a large printed notice, photo or photograph, used

to announce something; It usually has an image, brand, copy or
slogan and can be placed on doors, windows or walls of the store.
CARTELES: Es un gran aviso impreso, foto o fotografía, utilizado para

anunciar algo; normalmente tiene una imagen, marca, copia o eslogan y
se puede colocar en puertas, ventanas o paredes de la tienda.
 TRANSLUCENT VINYL: They are large pieces of cardboard found

VINILO TRANSLÚCIDO: Son piezas grandes de cartón que se

shelf to call buyer´s attention to a particular product or a service.

a un estante de una tienda para llamar la atención del comprador sobre
un producto o servicio en particular.
 STANDING SING: It combines metal with paper or cardboard. This

is located on the floor or on a surface.
SEÑAL DE PIE: Este combina metal con papel o cartón. Esto se

encuentra en el suelo o en una superficie.
 WOBBLER: It is also called a "dangler", a very small, lightweight

sign that hangs from a shelf or wire.
WOBBLER: También conocido como "colgante", una señal muy pequeña

y liviana que cuelga de un estante o cable.
2. Download the "Planimetry" file and read it carefully. Create a conceptual
map about reading and add it to the file.
3. Do the exercise provided in the section "Vocabulary", which is within the
object of learning "Commercial Exhibition" on completing a paragraph with
prepositions. When finished, take a screenshot and add it to the file.
4. Taking into account the translated vocabulary and the prepositions
studied, design a planimeter with the appropriate traffic, and aspects to
take into account such as exits, entrances and distribution of furniture,
among others.
PLANIMETRY GREEK RESTAURANTE BAR
The planogram is a map that shows the exact place where to place the
equipment, shelves, goods or gondolas of an establishment that for our
case is a restaurant bar.
This being so, we will use the following map of the Greek Restaurant Bar,
where you can see the basic divisions of any restaurant, which are
composed of the entrance areas of the restaurant and the kitchen areas:
1. Entry
2. Reservation
3. Waiting room
4. Play area for children
5. Live cooking
6. Pub
7. Bath area
8. Kitchen area
9. Living room
